Let's hope it has better audio than the MD version. I checked it out and as expected the voice samples are nasty.

Nice episode, ESWAT was my first game on the Megadrive, still enjoying it today. US Gold were churning a load of crap back in the days, it's impressive how crap it was and that they were charging money for it!!!

US Gold and Ocean were the biggest two crap factories on the home computer age. Ocean may have had one or two ok titles but the crap sure outweighed the good stuff.

I'm looking for some help in promoting the show. Can you guys help me out :)? I've got a twitter account @RetroCoreYakumo and just started a Facebook page although I'm really confused with Facebook. It seems I have what would be my main page and a sub page that let me set it as a TV Show page. I'm still learning Facebook so the page is pretty bare. Anyway the URL is https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=406922036181832 or maybe you can search for "Retro Core Battle of the Ports"

Also, please post any suggestions you may have for future games to feature.

    Thanks :)

There sure are. Probably the Neo Geo Pocket is the worst version with the Saturn being the best. The Windows port looks the best though.

I just tweeted your latest video because you deserve it, and so damn friendly to the community. Hope this helps.

Cheers man! I really do appreciate that. It's so hard getting my show noticed by the community.

There are very few cases where the Saturn version being the best isn't the case.

True but most of the time in the west people don't even know there are Saturn versions of some games, only PlayStation versions.

Mostly due to the Playstation version being the only one released in the west.

I think I'm a bit hazy on that one.

I think most people in the US either have never heard of the Saturn or know very little about it.

It is quite true, that a lot of westerners would not have known about a lot of the saturn conversions. I do remember the saturn very well in my younger days, however, I was more interested in playstation stuff because wasn't a fan of the saturn cases, and there was not many things on the saturn that interested me back then. Only the few games I could remember were panzer dragoon series, burning rangers, nights, and some others I remember seeing in stores. It wasn't until quite later in life that I was like holy shit the saturn is awesome(thus why I have became a big JP saturn collector lol)

Also to answer GodofHardcore the cases that are good ones to mention are the donpachi series being better ports on the playstation than the saturn, strikers 1942 part 2, just to name a few.

Only the butchered PS versions of games like Real Bout Fatal Fury, Darkstalkers 2 & 3 and MSH/X-Men vs. SF being released in the West is an insult to both those games and the Saturn.
