As much as i agree with you, Barc0de understood my point: Of course, this does not mean i won't play, or even buy it. But if they wanted to be revolutionary again, they could go for the PS3 or Xbox360. They probably spent quite some money with the last horrid Sonic games, specially the next gen one. Why not spending money in something good?
It's a good move I think. Won't cost them much and I would think it'd sell pretty well. Atleast as long as they price it like other PS2 games. Ofcourse I still have my Saturn and it's hooked up to an RGB monitor so I don't really need a PS2 remake.
I`ll pick up a copy, just because I love the game, my saturn & 3d control stick are never far from the tv. tbh i`ve never been able to get the A`s required to unlock the extra content.
I dare say that it will be ported if the sequel does well on the Wii. It just seems so weird to have it on a console that won't take advantage of the control like the Wii would.
A? Extra content? I didn't know that! Not that I'm any close (goddamn bosses always mess up my otherwise perfect score), but I didn't know there'd be any extra content... do tell!
I`m remembering it wrong, all you need is a C or above in each of the claris or elliotts stages to unlock the twin seeds level. I can`t even do that :crying:
You know the wii sequal hasn't even come out yet, it could possibly have the original as an unlockable.
probably not, I may not be very good at it but I have a lot of fun. I think the fact I don`t save the data doesnt help lol. I`m gonna have to make it my goal for tomorrow.
You know if the sequel does well on the Wii then this will make it there eventually. I'm guessing this also played a factor in Sega's decision not to make it for a current gen system.
If this makes it to the great white North (which I hope it does) I think it'll probably be better than getting myself a Saturn just for it: One less machine under the TV, possibly new features and it'll run through the component cables, which beats the composite of S video a Saturn would use.
My face says, "Been there, done that 10 years ago" :110: Big deal I say. Remake isn't a new game. It's just another Sega Ages effort, one that I can see Sony's money bags being thrown at it. I'm really not arsed, it's time to move on to the new one on the Wii. As long as it plays well I can forget about the voices. Yakumo
Totally unexpected, specially being a remake and not a straight port like most AGES games. Anyway, today while driving to my home I was thinking "what if SEGA made a Panzer Dragoon Saga remake?". With some nice nextgen graphics on X360/PS3 it would beat the shit out of FFXIII for sure.
actually sega did do a Pazer Dragoon remake as part of Sega Ages. pretty good looking port too but not needed if you have orta. all they need to do now is port over Burning rangers. Wasn't sega going to port all these Saturn Classics to PS1 back when they first went 3rd party?
PDS is a completely different beast... Orta on the other hand is considered almost a fanfic by team andromeda.
I'm looking forward to it as the PS2 / PS3 pad is more comfortable to hold ten the Saturn analogue pad which I found unconfortable to hold for long periods of time. Nights was all about chaining and scoring anyway, if they remake it and do some some decent new levels rather then increase the draw distance to buggery (like they did with Galaxy Force) then I will be happy.
When has a game made it to America but not Canada... At least in Montreal or Toronto this never has happened. In my recollection.
