Um - do I have to point out we're chatting on a forum whose primary role in life is to find every single minor variation of consoles, games etc. and hoard them? Last time I checked, such a task wasn't seen as the height of coolness.

Plus, when did anyone care about being cool on this board?

I'll probably just do what I did with the last generation, buy the systems when they cost less than £50.

The word "Cool" means different things to different people. I haven't really been keeping up with this thread nor do I understand why GodofHardcore blurted that out, but it, at least in my eyes, can be used in many scenarios by different kinds of people.

Like how ASSEMbler or whoever might be considered "Cool" because of their collection here.

GodofHardcore, you're pretty new here, but let me tell you something, this place has its fair share of fanboys. Some openly admit it, some hide it, and like me, some have certain biases.

I admit I don't like Nippon Ichi, but that could be someone elses favorite developer. Unlike some other members here, I was trying to be civil. A few members will post their opinions like they are facts like "Console "X" deserves to be thrown out a window" or some crap, but if it were me I'd say probably nothing if I couldn't contribute something worthwhile to the conversation or say why I think said console needs to be thrown out a window.

Alas, but on the Interweb people can say anything they want and they don't have to back it up with well thought out opinions. The glory of the Internet.
