NO! I can keep going with games I HATE. Mortal Kombat, Virtua Fighter, Tekken. I hate all of them. Every Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior. Goldeneye 007. Perfect Dark. Also terrible. Semi related - I love Banjo Kazooie but eventually it becomes just "FIND ALL THE THINGS" and I stop playing. Jet Force Gemini was amazing - great shooter I was looking forward to SO much. And I loved it - until you get to the part where it tells you to go re do every level and find all the bears. DK 64 was literally PLAY EVERY LEVEL 6 TIMES AND FIND ALL THE THINGS
I absolutely HATE Resident Evil 4 -5 but i absolutely LOVED 0,1,2,3,Code Veronica go figuer lol. Also i hated all the Halos , MUD , Doreamon 64 , just about all facebook games , every final fantasy game not on the snes, i could really go on forever

That's great music coming from a great game. I could list more great songs from the game, but that would require me to list the entire soundtrack. Donkey Kong Country kicked ass. Thinking about the time I spent playing DKC as a kid reminds me of how much I miss the golden years of Rareware. Why Microsoft, WHY!?!
DKC was awesome as a kid. So many secrets to find and the challenge of 100%ing a save was big back before the internet took off and walkthroughs were free. The graphics were just the icing on the cake for all I cared.
Yeah, pretty much exactly that. Everyone seemed to go crazy because there was a WOMAN in a VIDEO GAME even though her character was terrible. Not all of the 90s, but the late 90s were, for a few reasons, including character designs like this: and the de facto death of 2D and the birth of shitty 3D, which meant a ton of ugly, horribly designed 3D games that are practically unplayable today. Even many of the games that were praised back then have aged worse than games less than 20 years old should have. I dare you to play Tomb Raider or Syphon Filter today.
I always hated Tomb Raider, even in the 90's it's Step forward, step back, turn around and jump controls annoyed me. But it gives us stuff like this So I'm not going to complain
I hate, HATE HATE HATE, Bomberman. It became a forbidden word at my place for a while; you couldn't even mention Bomberman without making me angry. Even the basic music of it makes me angry just hearing it. Yet one of my favourite PS1 games is Silent Bomber. Go figure. Also, the Zelda games on N64. So, SO overrated. I just cannot even stand playing them.
I second final fantasy VII. maybe it's because final fantasy VI is one of my favorite games of all time, or maybe it's because of all the hype VII gets. I just didn't like the story, the materia system or the side quests.
Agree on Final Fantasy VII. I think the characters are meh. Nowhere near as good as VI. Also, IX is one of my favorites. Also agree on Ocarina of Time, I like top down Zeldas and Wind Waker. But really most of the popular N64 games. People my age love the N64, even though it wasn't a particularly good console. They always want to play Mario Kart 64, the worst of the Mario Karts and far inferior to Diddy Kong Racing, or Super Smash Brothers, the worst of those games where everyone has 4 moves and the joystick is awful. Seriously though. Just because you grew up with it does not mean it's the best thing ever, and you can try something else some time. The N64 angers me, if you couldn't tell. Also agree on Halo. I liked Timesplitters much better. Or any shooter that had things to unlock. Or different characters. Or different guns. Or different, well, anything. I would take James Bond Nightfire, even. Pokemon, I loved the originals, but it does bother me that they never bother to add anything resembling a plot. That's why I like to play fanmade pokemon games.
-Resident Evil games before 4: I think the camera angles made the game so awkward. If they mixed both of them up like Resident Evil 3.5(the baby doll killer thing one), then it would have been godly. I've played every single Resident Evil game, and I just felt the controls on the early ones so clunky. Again, if they made it like 3.5, it would be my favourite game series ever. -Megaman: Extreme trial and error game. You have to keep spamming bullets in front of you to clear a path before it hits you. There are just some enemies that are placed in the most trolly position ever. -2D Metroid games: Someone might hate me for this, but I just hated the fact that everything is a secret. You have to blast every single piece of ground to get through the game. Made me feel like a metal detector. I enjoy the combat, the movement, the environment. I just dislike being forced to punch a hole in every single surface I see. I dunno why people are hating on Ocarina of Time. It was the first 3D Zelda, you can't expect perfection on your first cake. You must keep trying to get it right, and it took them another game to do it.
Don't like the DK country games. Something that to this day I can't explain just turns me off to them. Hate. HATE! Tomb Raider games. Don't care for 3D Mario games. Not that they are bad but Mario will always be a 2D game for me. Oddly, I am fine with 3D Zelda games though. Never cared all that much for Sonic.
bwaaaaaahhhh :dejection: i know everything is subjective and everyone has their own taste but Terrible? Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark were Quality really solid games. im with you on tekken, i never liked it. love the Mortal Kombat games with the exception of 1 or two newer ones(deception bleurgh). i dislike most Turn based RPGs i have tried to play them but they just bore the ever loving and living shit out of me. don't know if these qualify but i hate world of warcraft and runescape yuk. never liked the sims games either. but dont hate the, they're just meh. Ridge Racer type 4, just not sense of speed or anything disappointment. oh and all the metal gear solid games after metal gear solid. although i've not played revengance
I liked Metal Gear, but I'm sick of the whole franchise. Do I hate it? No, it's this generation of games I hate.
