Awesome! I'm way too nervous doing anything to my PCB to make my screws fit, so I elected for the post version. Maybe I got lucky and it's been enhanced based on user feedback lol. If not, I'll glue the son of a bitch.

Do you guys have any recommendations, on what brand/type of Hot Glue, or Epoxy, to use?
I mostly wanna make sure we don't accidentally uses something that conducts electricity.
To be honest, I don't know if there is such a thing as electrically conductive Hot Glue, but hey, better safe than sorry. ;)

Just buy a 2 part liquid epoxy(found at a hardware store or auto parts places). Alot of the "kneed stick" semisolid type style ones contain iron filler(conductive), and are used for engine blocks and such.

High temp hot glue works if you don't place it directly on or near chips(hobby shops).

Most 2 part epoxy's and hot glues have insulative properties, but if you are in doubt; make a small 1/2 inch line of whatever glue medium you want to use on a piece of paper, wait for it to dry, then stick a multimeter on each side of the paper.

Hot glue is semi permanant(can be removed), epoxy is pretty much forever(good or bad).

What about Gorilla Glue or super glue? Or is that just dumb?

Try using latex based "clear" caulk instead. It will take a day to dry but it's pretty secure when cured. It can also be removed relatively easily if needed with a thin blade.

Just use a tooth pick to apply the caulk along the perimeter of the shell. It goes on white but dries clear. After you place the shell over the PCB, use a damp paper towel to wipe away any excess caulk that seep out.

Put some rubber bands and let it dry.

Awesome! Thanks for the great idea-- and I can't wait to get your product. Still waiting on the Turbo Everdrive to make its way to the states, but I'm excited.

BuffaloWing, thanks for taking the time to snap photos of the procedure, and of the caulk you used.
    I <3 Visual Aid. ;)

I have one of the pegged versions.
Your instructions will come in handy, when I get a TED to put it on.

BuffaloWing, I'm a complete idiot when it comes to this sort of thing, so thank you for your simple guide. 3.00 later, I'll have your cover secure on my Everdrive with a ton of caulk left over for my house. Thank you!

Just wanted to give thanks to BuffaloWing for giving everyone the option to print these out. I know it's not his pricing, but I will say its pretty steep for what is essentially a piece of plastic. I'd much rather be paying him for his case than a website that's printing them, considering all the time and effort he put into designing them. That being said, I will absolutely have one made once I order my turbo everdrive from Stone Age gamer. Can't wait!

You can get them from shapeways. OP is there any chance of a fixed design? The latch problem is annoying

I've been working on a "low profile" version for a while that removes the protrusion, but I recently discovered the new V1.2 PCB would not fit. Bear with me if you want this version.

Thanks, but this project will be limited to 3D printing only. I tried to do resin castings (seen in post #94 ) earlier in the year but the yield is just too low. I don't have all the necessary set up at home to do this right. That would of been as "mass produced" as they ever gonna get.

Hey BW, I ordered up a couple of the slim covers and they are awesome. My first 3D printer item and I'm quite impressed. Thanks for the work on these. ;)

The low profile version look pretty much like the prototype version shown below. The only difference is that the other corner is fully notch out like the microSD slot side. So both corners are exposed. This one only work on version 1.1 and 1.2 PCB. I was recently told by someone that there is a version 1.3 PCB out in the wild and it requires some modification to fit. I don't have 1.3 board nor have I seen a picture of it, so I don't know how much was changed.
