    I'll never understand why genitalia are not allowed to be seen, yet images of someone shooting someone in the face or blowing limbs off (yes, even in games) is considered fair game?

    The idea that it is offensive to women is a joke. I find death and murder offensive, yet FPS games shooting Iraqis are all the rage... but Dead or Alive gets more criticism for wobbling boobs.

    I am a moderator on a forum elsewhere, non gaming related. I let whatever fly, provided it doesn't break the rules.

    Though it is ASSEMbler's forum, a forum is nothing without members... especially ones that pay to keep it running.

    P.S. Can HCK just start a twitterfeed for these pictures? I am saddened I missed them.

    Putting aside the forum squabble, to which I am neutral (I like HCK's stuff, and I also see ASSEMbler's point) - these words are wise, extremely wise.

    This is something I have wondered all my life. Every human has sex or sexual experiences at some point in their lives.

    Few of us will wind up killing someone. Yet murder and violence are so common and life is so "cheap" on the mass media.

    What's with that? Doesn't that seem contradictory?

    I'd moan not at the fact that the content was deleted, but at the fact that our society's skewed values made it so that it had to be deleted.

    I think that if we want to discuss why violence in games seems to be embraced while sexuality is shunned we should probably do that in either OFF TOPIC or GENERAL GAMING DISCUSSION.

    IMO the questions raised in this thread were answered and it may be best to close it, being that it seems to be causing a bit of trouble for folks.
