I have found the file. It was in the latest dreamshell archive.

No, sorry. That is far too much work for the £0.50 profit I make.

If you want something other than what I have tested - you would need to take the risk. Basically I am selling you a chip with the file you have specified programmed to it, but I do not see why it wouldnt work...

OK, you're right. I will demand it soon from a friend and send you to be flashed. Thanks for understanding...

I have been thinking to buy this chip but it looks so complicated to install. How much harder it is compare to the saturn chip replacement?

How does it compare to a 4 wire mod chip in performance?

Replacing the actual chip is probably a tiny but easier with the dreamcast, as the pads fit the replacement chip better, also there is no epoxy under the chip.

However, you do need to solder to the via (or leg of the other flash chip).

I was using that modchip ant it really sucks. You have to turn off the machine everytime you want to change to another region. Fo example you're playing a US game then decide to play a Euro game, you have to turn off the machine and put the Euro disc. If you reset the machine while it's running, it continues to act as its current region... However with this BIOS, no need to do anything, it plays everygame, cheaper and better. Best investment on the console, wish someone add more futures one day like Unibios....

For the installation, use a hot air station to remove it, put some flux, solder the points.... Very easy but needs some time and patience....

Ok thank you Bad_Ad84 & beharius.

Any other flaw with the mod chips? Is there a difference between the versions?

If there's a dreamcast bios like a unibios would be cool.
