Dreamcast SD card reader RELEASED

Is that safe to buy from? $21 bucks might be worth the extra cash to not order from a chinese site I can't understand. ;p

 

Considering it costs like $8 bucks to buy it with buytabao, then it costs another $11 for them to ship it to YOU, I'd say that's totally worth it.

Ow damn... So I managed to order this one about 10 days ago through BuyfromTaoBao and made a PayPal payment.
Been kept up-to-date concerning the order process and now they have it at their office.
I click on the payment button and select shipment via regular mail, BUT suddenly I have to add these linked credit card details on PayPal... which I don't have.

I already contacted them for a solution.
This a big flaw in their structure, as I already payed for the damned thing without probs, but the shipment to here (Europe) is added only later on...

Order = $ 14,83
Shipment = $11,31
Makes a total of $26,14

Anyone has experience with this?

 

Ebay is only $21 to your door and its only 1 payment.

I could understand if you are buying a bunch of them, but for singles ebay is better.

 

I've just received mine, which i ordered through eBay 11 days ago. Very fast shipping. Now i'm going to test it, and post the results. Hopefully it's in working condition

I would be interested to know the compatibility of those with homebrew and games.

I went on the dc-sd.com website but the compatibility list is short and most of the title included on it seems incompatible.

 

You can find a good list at DC Swat's forum.

I've personally bought it for homebrew and VMU backup, I don't really care for games.

 

Still awaiting mine; tracking service says they dropped by but they didn't leave any note behind... :/

EDIT: just picked it up: packaging was a bit tattered, but the contents is in 1 piece.
Took about 30 days from the start of the order process for delivery.
