at the moment someone on ebay is selling the sd card readers for dreamcast.

@r34per, Yes, you can always uninstall it and reinstall any region bios directly from Dreamshell. Installing Dreamshell into the bios disables the GDR, so you can remove it altogether if you wanted. This is mainly a good thing for those wanting to make small portable Dreamcasts which don't take up as much space without a GDR drive.

As for those directions, I think they should be spot on.

Advice, buy from TaoBao directly and save a small fortune!

Yeah, it is BS. Just don't buy from that crook and you should be all good. Anyway, the little black one on Ebay is a better buy for those not wanting to go through taobao, but I will tell you that using the tutorial I have posted at Racketboy forums it is the cheapest way to get these.

Like I said before, mine cost $11.14, shipping was included, and it took 2 months and 2 days to get here to Texas.

 

i just got mine in the mail and yah it was clearly handmade though it looks very nice and works.

 

How long should it take for buyfromtabao to receive it? It's been a month and it's still in the "processing" stage.

 

They should already have it, but they won't tell you for a while. Mine took 2 months and 2 days to get to my house after ordering it initially.

If you charged less than the price of the sd adapter I linked to... yes, yes you did.

That's like £15... I charge (and get) double that for lifting and reflashing a Wii nand chip to unbrick a console - which I would consider easier.
