I was looking for information about the Kenzei....does it require the Hanzo to work with the XRGB mini?

How does it plug into the XRGB Mini?

 

It requires a VGA source to operate...
Kenzei has a Scart connector, so you need a euro Scart to mini din(xrgb) cable.

Thanks for the info. Where can us XRGB owners buy this cable? I think the one that comes with the XRGB Framemeister is a Japan SCART.

How much for the Hanzo and Kenzai? I might want it for connecting my DC to an XRGB Mini.
Can this setup be used for connecting other VGA devices to the XRGB Mini?

I actually have a VGA box and a VGA to SCART cable already, I'm wondering if I can use that to connect my DC to the XRGB in 31Khz mode. I can't try yet because I don't have a Euro SCART to Framemeister cable.

 

Hanzo is $60. However if you have the XRGB you don't need its scanline function, Kuro is more suitable, same PCB, lower price, no scanline function.

You need a Euro Scart to mini Din cable in order to hook it up to the XRGB.
Kenzei accepts a VGA signal(RGBHV) converts it to RGBS compatible with XRGB or other upscalers/displays.
