I hope I'm not expecting too much of E3 this year. It's probably due to all the next Gen systems coming out between 2005 an the end of 2006. The Rev (wii) is what I'm most excited about. The local game stores aren't taking any pre orders yet. I know once it's announced I'll be the 1st one at the door with cash in my hand.

 

I know three people irl that're going tommorow, makes me somewhat depressed each time I see them because im not going

Next year though ill be hitting both GDC and E3. 2007 will be an exciting year.

 

Gamespot will be streaming the various press confrences soon. The sony one begins later tonight in a few hours with MS and Nintendo's being tommorow.

 

You either have to be a member to see or pay them. Yet you still get bombarded with ads, and quality isnt that good, not really in HD as they say it is. Good thing I have friends there either telling me all about it or taping or taking pictures of it. So I'm good :033: .

 

Hands on look at Zelda on the Wii. Sword Fighting, weeeeeeee. Wii tennis game announced. Wrist band accessory still not announced...

ISnt the sony keynote today at 4pm?

 

4pm PST, 12am GMT. I can't decide whether to stay up late and watch it, or get up early and read the digest (and watch the presentation when all the Americans are asleep! - less lag). Decisions decisions...

 

So only a few hours away for me... Ill be up to see the sony banana controller once again.

 

I'm expecting a Dual Shock 2 but with triggers. Nothing like the batarang thing (which was supposedly just a design study - yeah right!). Public opinion is such that it won't be something that stays I am assuming.

The next point is: Will the next controller have a rumbling device in it? TBH, I couldn't care less. If anything I find it off putting and it can hurt the wrists after a while.

 

Sucks as I was supposed to go to this with THQ, but I changed jobs last month. Oh well.

Since Sony Press Conference is the first , i'm hoping for:

- PS3 final console design (i hope they changed it)
- The new controller (thank god no boomerang. Go Dual Shock 3 :dance: )
- Gran Turismo 5 ? ray:
- Killzone 2 "real" screens
- PlayStation HUB / Network Platform
- Announcement of the price and release dates :shrug:

That's at least a good news, as it seems another CC and a Dragon Quest are underway for the Big N's next Console.
