Did anyone noticed that promo stuff wasn't so widely avaiable as previous years? I'm checking ebay all i see are lanyards, small posters,... Where are the demo discs, catalogs and stuff like that?
The coolest item I have seen given away thus far is the Nintendo press kit. There is a little DS cart in it that has the GC trailer for TS so you can watch it on your DS - very cool. Though I don't know what the quality would be like.

News? Well I found it quite interesting. Pics of the top of the Wii open with 2 panels for memory cards and controllers respectively. Quite a nice feature. I hope they redesign that top pannel because it looks awful. It would probably break off within the first few weeks.
It was pretty subdued this year, you'd think with 2 consoles launching it'd be nuts but it wasn't. Wasn't a lot of cool schwag this year, only 360 faceplates I saw were Gears of War (ran out first day) and Mad Catz. Coolest thing I got was this 64 Meg USB drive for playing Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and the Nintendo press kit blew for actual info, sure if you collect nintendo it might be important but as a useful press kit , nope ! Made it to C3@E3 which was MS's party in their booth after hours, we got a free shirt (nice, white, soccer jersey material) and a copy of retail Xbox Live Gold . Free beer and food though :clap: Did get to meet some cool peeps and will be going again next year. Seems like everyone got a shot of the namco girls ;-)
