Eurogamer has them too. Including highlights Just read that on the Microsoft Press Conference, Bill Gates announced 8 more countries will have the Xbox 360: South Africa, Chile, India, Brazil, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. I know this probably don't mean much for a lot of people, but it's the first "official" announcement of support for a game console down here in a long time (since Nintendo of Brazil closed , just after the GameCube released). And Microsoft Brazil already confirmed what the "big boss" said. Still no date or price, but this year. Knowing the imported US version costs between 1.800 and 2.400 reais ( about 850 / 1150 dollars ), if they can release it for 1.000 Reais people will buy it ( A PSTWO costs today 700 Reais ). Not to mention that official support means at least some kind of guarantee. If you have a console nowadays, if it breaks , you have to find someone to fix it and pay for it. Sorry if all this is a bit off-topic, but it's great news.
I don't know if anyone has seen this or not, but I was watching G4's e3 coverage today, while teaching my mom how to use a ds(her brain age is 68)..and they were doing a part on the shooter crysis, while brian knighty? i think interviewed a developer, another was playing the game, via a huge projection moniter. all went well, until they should some in game footage, that started to lag, bad, as that happened they cut back to the developers, and in the background, you could see the game crash to the xp desktop .....i found it somewhat funny... Grand Theft Auto IV announced for the 360. Rockstar signs exclusive deal with MS. THis announcement was totally unexpected... http://www.joystiq.com/2006/05/09/engadget-and-joystiqs-live-coverage-of-microsofts-xbox-360-e3-ev/
Did you mean to post that yesterday? Its not an exclusive deal either. Just a deal for it to come out on the same day as every other platform its on.
Awesome. Maybe they'll make a Star Soldier game for the Wii as well? I'm guessing the Star Soldier stuff will also be available on the Virtual Console... and hopefully Lords of Thunder and Gate of Thunder as well!
Finally got around to downloading the Lost Planet demo. I'm just now picking my jaw up off the floor. That... was amazing. I can't imagine the people who claim that the 360 isn't "next-gen enough" saying the same thing after seeing that game. That was just amazing. Can't wait for that to come out.
Is anyone unimpressed with the gameplay in gears of war? It's incredible looking, but it seems pretty much standard fare as far as gameplay.
Yeah, my friends and I actually got bored watching the demo from the Microsoft Keynote. Yay! Blood and explosions. I've seen it all before. MGS4, though, looks soooooo good. Let's hope it's not a launch title, because I don't think I'll have enough this year to get a PS3.
