Eurogamer has them too. Including highlights

Just read that on the Microsoft Press Conference, Bill Gates announced 8 more countries will have the Xbox 360: South Africa, Chile, India, Brazil, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

I know this probably don't mean much for a lot of people, but it's the first "official" announcement of support for a game console down here in a long time (since Nintendo of Brazil closed , just after the GameCube released).

And Microsoft Brazil already confirmed what the "big boss" said. Still no date or price, but this year. Knowing the imported US version costs between 1.800 and 2.400 reais ( about 850 / 1150 dollars ), if they can release it for 1.000 Reais people will buy it ( A PSTWO costs today 700 Reais ).

Not to mention that official support means at least some kind of guarantee. If you have a console nowadays, if it breaks , you have to find someone to fix it and pay for it.

Sorry if all this is a bit off-topic, but it's great news.

I don't know if anyone has seen this or not, but I was watching G4's e3 coverage today, while teaching my mom how to use a ds(her brain age is 68)..and they were doing a part on the shooter crysis, while brian knighty? i think interviewed a developer, another was playing the game, via a huge projection moniter. all went well, until they should some in game footage, that started to lag, bad, as that happened they cut back to the developers, and in the background, you could see the game crash to the xp desktop

    .....i found it somewhat funny...

SEGA ANNOUNCES GOLDEN AXE COMING TO NEXT-GENERATION CONSOLES

The Legend Returns as a New Adventure, Re-imagined for the Next-Generation

SAN FRANCISCO & LONDON (May 10, 2006) - SEGA® of America, Inc. and Sega Europe Ltd. today announced the long-anticipated return of Golden Axe™, a fan favorite since its original release in 1989. Developed exclusively for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Golden Axe marks the first project from the recent acquisition of San Francisco-based studio, Secret Level.

Golden Axe delivers action-RPG thrills as a small band of Riders embark on an epic adventure to recruit allies, expose the enemy and prevent the annihilation of their breed. Delivering an intense and unique combat experience, players charge into battle on the backs of ferocious beasts or take their chances with the enemy while on foot. Fighting skill, wits and even magic are all called into action as players immerse themselves in the struggle to defeat an evil intent on enslaving the remains of civilization.

"Golden Axe is one of our most treasured brands and is a complete re-imagining of the story that will take gamers on an unforgettable journey," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "The vision we have for the remake of Golden Axe is nothing short of remarkable and it can only be realized on the PLAYSTATION 3 system and Xbox 360."

Awesome. Maybe they'll make a Star Soldier game for the Wii as well? I'm guessing the Star Soldier stuff will also be available on the Virtual Console... and hopefully Lords of Thunder and Gate of Thunder as well!

Finally got around to downloading the Lost Planet demo.

I'm just now picking my jaw up off the floor. That... was amazing. I can't imagine the people who claim that the 360 isn't "next-gen enough" saying the same thing after seeing that game. That was just amazing. Can't wait for that to come out.

Is anyone unimpressed with the gameplay in gears of war? It's incredible looking, but it seems pretty much standard fare as far as gameplay.

Yeah, my friends and I actually got bored watching the demo from the Microsoft Keynote. Yay! Blood and explosions. I've seen it all before.

MGS4, though, looks soooooo good. Let's hope it's not a launch title, because I don't think I'll have enough this year to get a PS3.
