Haven't seen MS's stuff yet... but hot damn! Nintendo blew me away. I was afraid they'd get lazy with the DS with such a lead. But no! The DS is the best thing so far at E3 AGAIN! AMAZING!!! Nintendo...
Wii was cool. Redsteal looks meh. Mario looks great but i worrie it being another sunshine. Metroid was nice but I prefer my 2d metroid. Now on to excitetruck. While this did look cool and gave me a very good NST feel (is that the right spelling? the washington studio which did waverace), I feel the Wii might have been better with a waverace insted (or maybe thats also comming). The idea of doing n64 waverace with a wii remote sounds fun. I probably will get excitetruck tho. Just something about that made me want it. On the ps3 front, god if tiger woods 07 looks just as good as the real time tiger demo, I'm scared. It just felt less stiff then anything else shown. Evertything else seem kewl but i am not sure on forking out $600 for the system (atleast at launch). I might have to wait on that one.
Funny I just finished san andreas last week after a long hipcup. The game is sooo big I just couldn't play it all in once. Anyway, they HAVE to bring MMO capabilities this time.
Whoa, that cant be right, sony has a patent on that analog layout. That's why both Xbox and GC have the "diagonal" layout
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n10/e3_2006/wii/img_con/photo_classic.jpg Official nintendo site picture.... its right
that layout makes the most sense for its purpose as D-Pad will be the most used control as 4 out of the 5 Virtual Console systems use D-Pad as their movement control (Nes, Snes, Genesis, Turbo GFX).. if sony do indeed have it patented maybe nintendo found a way around it... I like that pad it looks neat
How is it? Dear god, someone say something! EDIT: HERE! http://www.bungie.net/News/TopStory.aspx?link=Halo3Announcement

We won't ruin the content of our short presentation by describing it frame by frame, but we will note that everything you're seeing here is being rendered in real-time on the Xbox 360, using the current version of our Halo 3 game engine. The HDR lighting, self-shadowing, GPU-run particle system and many other effects should make it intact (and more) to our final game.
The lack of "grips" on the controller is worrying. I love the n64's grips, and the cube's are alright. The SNES controller gives me cramps though. I need something to wrap my fingers around - this sounds wrong, but..you understand.
I'm interested in the shoulder buttons...seem to be odd shapes. I'll be interested to see how n64 works on this too.
Thinking about it, given what LoganJ said about it being used for backwards compatibility, the buttons actually make sense - anyone wanting Gamecube backwards compatibility will ideally plug in a Gamecube controller. But yeah, N64 should be interesting.
I would think the Gamecube controller would for great for N64 games.Im sure the C-Stick would work great with Sin and Punishment.
It suits the 360's style of casing, but I can't imagine it standing near the 360. It would ruin the whole visual presentation of the console, and I hate it when add-ons don't somehow "lock" on a console but exist loosely around it.
If it was flush to the case and dint have a stupid black facia it would be nice. http://www.rockstargames.com/grandtheftauto4/
Just saw the Twilight Princess video, pretty nifty thing going with the bow & arrow. Don't think I'll get used to the two handed control layout very quickly though, I hope there's an option to play it in a different way.
