it surely weighs more at 5Kg however. Nevertheless the 360 isnt very "compacted" inside, there's enough room.

Dreamcast WAS the 128bit generation if i remember correctly.

Also correct me if i'm wrong but the Nights controller and it's analogue thumbstick was only revealed after Nintendo unveiled the N64.

    Exactly.
The N64 was on the market months before Nights was released with its UFO shaped controller. Didn't Sony get their PS1 analog controller around the same time?

well everything is relative. if Ken says it's cheap that means they're losing enough money on it even at 600 US greens.

Nin: 27 playable games on show floor

I always thought having two sensor controllers would be really nice (although a bit of a workout) for a boxing game. Wonder if there is one on the way for Wii.

If we view some of these: http://uk.ps3.ign.com/e3/2006/videos/

    Virtua Fighter 5 looks incredible
Tekken 6 looks nothing like the trailer from E3 2005 (no real surprise there)
Ridge Racer 7 looks quite an improvement on RR6 for the XBox360, certainly a lot more solid.

All sequels and nothing to capture the imagination. GT4 HD is a load of rubbish and I don't see the logic in showing something that looks barely beyond a PS2 game.

I have yet to see the other presentations, but so far I am fairly disappointed.

Edit: Metal Gear Solid 4 looks very nice, but is it running on hardware?
