K, I was just saying you know... That a nice idea barc0de, but I doubt nintendo will do it. Anyways, there's always the possibility that 3rd party companies make them, maybe even Genesis and TG16 versions:dance:
Yes, indeed if the quality matches the original nintendo pads (made by Hori , licensed for example) then they would truly be so gorgeous that I would hesitate to play with them. Perhaps Hori could release a "set" of them including one of each controller for white/black colour and offer it at a suitable price of about 60US. Sounds like a business idea to me.
Heard from a friend of mine that the next Madden was announced as a 360 exclusive. Anyone else hear this? Apparently it was in the Microsoft Press Conference on the Xbox Live Market Place. If this is true, then Microsoft just won the US hands down...
I just played the PS3 version yesterday, unless you're talking about next year's version. Anybody know where all the cool swag is at?
Ack! I heard Far East of Eden Ziria was also at E3. Will this be getting a US release now!? That would be ray:
I think he said something to the effects of "come this season the xbox 360 will be the only place you will be able to play hi-def madden" I guess because the season starts before the ps3 is released?? (i have no idea when the season starts btw so its a guess)
looks like the old man might have a heart-attack EDIT: holding the controller side-ways reveals the uncomfortable reality that due to the Wii-mote design on the left hand ur index finger will be closer to ur thumb (as it is underneeth, at the cavity) than ur right hand where ur hand has to cover a slightly bigger height. That's something I d like to avoid, because it feels like holding a TV or hi-fi remote sideways, kind of cheap.
Pop on over to ign.com http://uk.media.ps3.ign.com/articles/708/708353/vids_1.html Nice interview with Phil Harrison, mentions among other things that that the PS3 6 ways of motion concept has "effectively(!)" been in development since 1994! Oh and the usual sensible stuff about price.
Anyone know where this poll is from? http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/7282/quickpoll9fc.jpg Some guy posted it over at IGN... I'm going to continue to see if I can find the source of this. Though it very well could be fake. Very interesting results none-the-less. Edit: Apparently this came from Famitsu. If anyone can confirm this... If thats the case... hell, I don't even know what to say to that. Even with Sony's horrible E3 showing I imagined Japan would just eat up any console with Final Fantasy.
Something I meant to ask. Did the PSP and DS feature downloadable demos over WiFi? I seem to remember that was going to be a feature of E3 this year, but haven't read anything about it since.
This is priceless. http://media.ps3.ign.com/articles/708/708353/vids_1.html Video interview with Phil Harrison, the dweeb president of Sony USA. Points of interest: 1. "The notion of winning E3 is weird. The real winners are the gamers... that buy the PS3, PSP, PS2, and PS1" 2. Every generation the price of the consoles go up, its a natural thing, it happens all the time. 3. Nobody has ever had playable games on their system 6 months before the launch. 4. They didn't steal Nintendo's controller, their controller had been under development since 1994.
If the PS3 controllers were under development, how come the development community did not know they existed? I'll bet other than a small number of token games, that feature will be lost on the mass of PS3 gamers.
Damn, it is him. And knowing Julian he's probably comming up with ways to take advantage of that controller for some flight sim or even a Light Saber game :110: Maybe he'll reconsider after Lair and sign-up as a third party EDIT: considering he was one of my favourite technical visionaries on the GameCube alongside Rareware (With SFA) we'll all have alot to look forward to if he decides to push the Wii. His GC experience will surely come in handy - the man and his (original) team know their low level stuff better than 90% of current console developers.
