250$ for a console that's not the half as powerfull as the most powerfull console of its generation sounds something too much for me too - although i must admit its retro compatibility freaks me out!

EDIT : Sonic looks really great.

IMO one console maker is gonna die this gen. There is a pretty good chance that any of the consoles could fail.
Wii:controler ends up like the Power Glove massive amounts of money lost and Nintendo is handhelds only from now on.
Xbox 360:hardly any profit has been made on the original and the 360 and if there is no profit, no investors, no more consoles.
PS3:no one will be able to afford it.:110:

Yeah $250 is too much. Plus they plan to make money charging me $10 for an old ass game i can get second hand with the original console for like $5!

Also i dont like the way they come off with the excuse "you can swing the sword with the wand because you get too tired" Well why dont you go get busy implementing it instead of giving me shitty excuses and give me time to work my arms out...

I REALLY hope this Zelda is not going to make me "wow" up to the end of the game, which would mean i would finish it in like three-four days.....

They already said it's got more dungeons than OoT.

$250... dread to think what they're going to want here. £200 probably.

but to the ipod accepting public do you think they would care,if you think about how many people spend $12-15 on albums on itunes everyday i could see people also buying into $5-10 videogames that revive nostalgia.im sure people wont be spending $100s on games but here and there i imagine they will.

Sorry, but "more dungeons" is not equal to "it will be more challenging and thus take longer to finish". I always thought that what Zelda was missing was a easy/normal/hard/very hard / hero difficult level setting.

250$ eh? Those controllers must really cost them more than the console itself to pack-in ;)

EDIT: Why is Shadow the hedghog inside an army vehicle? Can't we just have a simple Sonic game for once with sonic-related gameplay instead of various crap?

    and..

That's ugly for a launch title, no matter how fun the controller looks.

And how odd, the Tennis title isn't a Mario Tennis title, although it features comical characters. Odd indeed for nintendo's habbits, especially considering that anything Mario for launch can be nothing that a selling point.

    From Joystiq:
"PS3 will support HD output at 1080i definition ... a level of sophisticaiton and reality that has never been experienced." PSP interopability with PS3 via network, memory stick, USB. "BluRay is a next generation format supported by major studios. Five of the six major Holywood studios are supporting BluRay."

No mention of HDMI, so it may have been cut: either from the PS3 or just missing from their feature list (although you would think it would be mentioned)

Also, 1080i output, but that's conflicting with the statements of GT at 1080p
