Just got back from pre-ordering my PS4... they're selling pre-orders quick over here.

I take it you haven't played DKCReturns or Super Mario 3D Land have you?

Both are absolutely brilliant, and I expect nothing less from their sequels that come out later this year. Also, Pikmin 3.

Though X stole the show for me. That game looks... that game just looks amazing.

And Nintendo certainly did something Sony and Microsoft didn't: Focus on actual gameplay footage. What a novel concept.

Also happy to say that PS4 is not region lock. That another bonus.

By the way I have pre order it in town today. Pretty busy down there while everyone Pre-order the PS4 and how exited they are. I saw seven people cancel the XBOXone pre-order so far. Causing quite heat between Staff and Customer.

Meanwhile, I can't wait to play The Last of us on this friday. Couldn't come a better time for PS owner :victorious:

 

Couldn't agree with you more :encouragement: . Sony had my money from the start but when they showed more footage of Versus XIII (Now XV) AND Kingdom Hearts 3!!?!... that just put the icing on the cake.

 

The only good thing on this year's E3 was -gasp!- Sony's conference. MS was just stamped on by Sony and Nintendo's 'New Mario/Zelda/Zzzz' conference was as dull as expected (and even more underwhelming than I've expected).

 

Curious about the relation between Microsoft and Retailers. With the block of used games, i guess only Microsoft "partner" retailers will bother stocking and selling the system?

Ex: If Gamestop is not a partner, thus not being able to accept used games, will they sell the console?!


Lucky you Unknown-Organization. I'm still trying to find a way to get the Survival Edition for a decent price. The Dollar - Real currency going up is not helping it.

I preordered mine on Amazon since they only charge the credit card when they ship it. I preordered both PS4 and Xbox One but I think I'll cancel my Xbone preorder since I'm not sure I want the console and our price will be very similar to the Amazon price (with shipping and taxes).

Are you sure you're going to import it? The console weights 2.8kg. The shipping alone would be expensive, not to mention the taxes.

 

If your getting it imported to Brazil, prepare your anus for some customs fees

 

Amazon already charges the taxes when you put an order, so the final price already includes the taxes. The Xbone cost US$1050 and if we use 1 = R$2.14 it would cost R$2247, so I think I will cancel my preorder. But the PS4 price is really good (US$850 with shipping and taxes).

But if Sony and Microsoft announce they are going to launch the consoles here on the same day that on the US, I will buy them here even if I have to pay a little more.

 

It's amazing to me how people are jizzing themselves over Sony right now considering all Sony did was not change anything. But Microsoft's blunders were just that bad.

 

Square Enix changed PS in my eyes, for the better. I found it difficult to find a good game to play with all these shovelware shooters on store shelfs

@Johnny, Maybe you could give abit more time in the future ? Since you mention you have plenty backlogs games that need to complete first ! Especially Save "The last of us " for the best bit after you complete the rest of the games.

I guess Brazil is not great shape for overcharge taxes :/

For those who live in UK, You can buy PS4 for £100 cheaper than original PS4 price. You can do that by pre order it on US (Not UK) Amazon ! So you would be paying £256 for PS4.

I may just get a 3DS for all my Nintendoing. 1 game does not win me over then again Project X Zone and SMT IV are my main reasons for wanting a 3ds

They may as well be seeing as nobody is going to get an XBOX One
