Agreed, except I thought the GC had some really great games, but most of the Nintendo games for Wii were disappointing. They've touted a return to pleasing gamers with the U, but so far they've just released the same stale crap as they did on Wii (a minigame collection and New Super Mario Bros...fucking YAWN). They've got a long way to go if they're gonna replace all the exclusives and franchises they pissed away during the GC era.

Also, completely unrelated, but I think people should tone down posting stupid memes. It seems that especially Johnny can't post anything these days without some hi-larious meme or GIF.

 

Nintendo STILL HAS BAYONETTA 2 and Sonic Lost world looks awesome.

So there's that and YES I will buy a Wii U JUST for those two games.

 

Couldn't care less about Bayonetta since the original was overhyped crap, but a new F-Zero, preferably by Sega, would go a long way in winning me over.

The ironic thing is I've decided to get a 3DS, but the Wii U has nothing of interest to me, just like the DS has a much better library than the Wii.

 

GOD you really do hate everything either that or you're my exact opposite and thus if you love a game chances are I'm going to hate it. Wait you just said you wanted an F-Zero...I LOVE F-ZERO PARADOX.

But COME ON Bayonetta is awesome I still go back to it from time to time too.

 

Since you have a Guardian Heroes avatar, I doubt it. A new Fire Emblem would be nice to see too...other than SMT X FE, which is practically the only upcoming thing on Wii U that interests me at all.

 

Though not as good as Sony's I thought Microsoft actually had pretty decent conference. It doesn't matter though since they screwed themselves and Sony was in a great position to hit them at every weak point. Chalk the XBone up as another victim of the 3rd console curse.

 

I want this on a video monitor with wheels, so I can just roll it around E3 all day...

 

Nintendo already said they are making a new IP, so just wait.

The thing is, Nintendo basically makes new games with these characters. Look at A Link to the Past, then look at Skyward Sword. Same series, two completely different games. That's how they are allowed to make games with the same title. Look at Call of Duty. They are on Call of Duty 10, and absolutely changed nothing. $60 DLCs year round.

 

Not just a blow to Microsoft here but ALSO nintendo as the Wii U is Wiigeion locked as well

Guardian Heroes is indeed a fine game. Thanks for reminding me about Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem. Not so much an FE fan but I LOVE SMT.

Isn't it kind of fun that it's Sony that seems to be respecting consumers choices? LOL Maybe they learned something from the criticism over OtherOs and all those stuff?

Let's not forget that Sony, as a company, is having some financial troubles. They are doing everything right to keep gamers happy.

Beyond that Nintendo didn't show jack and shit for Holiday 2013 everything they showed is for next year. Give people a reason to pick up a Wii U this year.

Kasumi and Samus are my Waifus they kept the seal rather tight for Bayonetta 2 I was expecting some gameplay as well. Though I was focusing on the horrible hair she has now... :/

Mario Kart 8 is basically a rollercoaster racer, I like the idea of racing with anti-gravity, but that's what F-Zero was. I'd rather an F-Zero. Yeah F-Zero is cool! Hope they fixed the drifting though I hate the new style...

 

I should threaten to not buy a Wii U until Nintendo makes F-Zero for it....

like that will make a difference Remake GX in HD for all I care just GIVE US F-ZERO

Exactly. With no used games, it seems they already know there's no reason to release it there.

Capcom should go back to what they used to be and release a new MegaMan with that look.
