Seems like there's no text yet during battles either like when you run it doesn't say escaped and when you use spells or items you don't see which item or spell.

Another corrupt byte has been located in the audio log file. Start the game, and when the logo appears, enter Pro Action Replay 80C40003 code. Now use Reset in the emulator. Do you have sound now?

By the way, I don't know if Maxim is standing on the exact right spot in the Ice block room in the Ruby Cave, since it seems that the layout changed quite a bit =P

Oh my god !!!! It's a complete sound FIX :)

YEAH I am so happy now.

    Thank you

nb. when I click to pass text with controller between 2 characters, I have some bug sound perhaps.
or when i fight some enemies i have the slash sound bugged!
In the beginning of the intro i don't understand all balls sound.

Anyway, music of the game is so nice now :)

When I finished to fight the first enemy the game has been reseted to the NEW GAME screen.

Can you record it how it sounds like now? :)

Edit: maybe a few more sound bytes are corrupted if there's still bugs in sound but I am happy to hear the music got fixed.

Post a test video on Youtube, that includes the error where the game resets after battle.

In SNES9x, enter both 80C40003 and the 7E057CFF debug mode code. Use walk through walls on the overworld map to visit many different locations that use different music and sound effects. Does the yellow error text "Sound CPU executing STOP" reappear again anywhere?

Isn't that because you still have the code to cheat Tia in your party on? (which didn't work before)

I hear the battle theme =)

    - Get winamp if you don't have it.
    - Download a plug-in called Snesamp if you don't have that yet.
    - Change the .sp1 to .spc
    - Drag the file into winamp (for me it wouldn't play otherwise)

This is how I was able to listen to the sound file.

I hear it now and like I thought on the cam footage it do sound a little different. I think same applies for cave music.

Yeah, and the intro music sounded unfinished too.
Actually, since the music isn't finished yet, I'm sorta curious about the Sinistral battle theme, since Shiono said in the OST booklet that he kept rewriting the song alot.

Or maybe all the melodies of the songs are already finished, but still need some tweaks and adjustments of the instruments.

Hmmm, I wonder about what plays in Daos' room, because Shiono's comments suggest that Daos' theme was added last-moment.
(story in short: In 1995 there was an OST of Lufia II, but Daos' theme was missing. The OST was actually released a little while before the game itself, and in the booklet of the OST of 2006 Shiono says that Daos' theme was added into the game after the recording for the 1995 OST CD was already finished. I think Miyata (the director) said in an interview that after the recording of the OST was already done, he wanted to add a song to replace another song for variation (I think it was either Battle#3 during Daos' battle, or maybe at first the normal Doom Island music was playing in Daos' room, but was changed to his theme like it is in the final version)

The music is much fixed but I don't believe it's fully fixed yet especially to hear on Cave music.

    Also great footage, love it.

Edit: or it's the text boxes that annoys the cave music.
