or maybe just an editable config file to customise settings that way
it would satisfy both moders and igor wouldn't have to give up his bread and butter

 

yah buy a cheep sports game from the PAL region and harvest the CIC

 

unfortunatelly i have no pal cic at this moment. hard to find pal carts. probably cart with pal cic will be available at emere.es soon

 

Anyway - to be on the safe side I've placed an order with an NTSC CIC and an MD Everdrive. Is it possible to deliver a PAL CIC instead of the NTSC CIC. Many thanks in advance.

EDIT: I've seen you posting already - ok - my fault. Is there a tutorial in the net how to change the CIC. I've enough PAL Games. Thank you.

 

but why you did not bought ed64 without cic if you will install pal cic in any case? cart without cic bit more cheap (-15usd) and more easy for cic install (not need to remove already installed ntsc cic)

 

OK, I've checked the pics on your webpage. I think this will be an easy change - the CIC isn't a SMD Chip.

and like i suggested just get a less then 5 euro sports game
and harvest its CIC and install it in you everdrive 64

ED64 keep OS at SD card like computer keep OS at HDD, so enough to replace old file by new

 

Just bought one from Retrogate! Still waiting for my SMS Everdrive to arrive from Tototek though... Are they shipped from Ukraine or Germany, got a little confused while reading on retrogate.

 

I bought mine, I'm happy, I'll leave the rest for the others.

@helios: It probably comes from both Ukraine and Germany, but my latest order came from Germany.

 

I also put an order in for one this morning. Didn't want to wait for a group purchase later in the year, but might get another then. Very excited, can't wait. when it arrives I've promised myself I'd finish Zelda this time.

If I recall correctly, KRIKzz said he had flashram code written but for some reason it simply did not work, and fixing it will likely require a firmware flash not just an OS update? Least thats what I recall him stating

 

Really? I jut checked and it looked like it was still in stock.

anyway, I'm planning on getting one of these fairly soon. Are there different models? I've read in here about deluxe editions but I'm not sure what the differences are. Any info would be appreciated.
