    Yes, Japanese games are NTSC.

US and Japanese N64 Consoles and Games are the same region. They only have a physical shape that makes the actual retail Japanese and US cartridges not fit into the cartridge slot.

Hey KRIKzz its a shame we dont have a good game boy emulator for n64.
GBlator is crap without sound emulation. and with wideboy games dont boot.
If we had a gb emulaotor with sound, the everdrive64 would be the ultimate everdrive 3in1. If somebody only could write a good working game boy emulator for the n64.

Good luck on that one as far as I know the 64 emu scene has been dead for years.

    Mine arrived today =D

Already finished a cartridge for it now I'm downloading a rom set. The only sad part is that my only SD card available is 4gb :(
    I'll order a 8gb today.

Because that's what people do. I agree with you that the NES and GB emulators on N64 are pretty pointless. If you want to emulate them, use a PC or a Xbox 1 that's modded. Or now a PS3 that is modded.

Reading through this thread thats what I started wondering too...

This is all about playing the games on the real Hardware. If you are into emulators, why bother with Flashcarts at all? Just play a N64 Emu on PC.

Dont want to step on anyones toes but to me that sounds like bolting a steam engine to a bicycle instead of driving a car.

Im interested in getting all the N64 games working on the cart... guess thats what its made for in the first place.

I thinked about that too. Maybe I'll fully understand when I get a 64drive or Everdrive64.
Maybe people so much love their N64 that they want to use it as much as possible =) So if they play NES and GB games, they want to play in on N64 just because N64 is the best console ever made.
Please correct me if I'm not right.

Actually, a NES-emulator is a perfect reason for finding a use of the D-pad on the N64 joypad :)

The D-pad is off course superb så its a real shame it dont get lots of use in many games.

    KRIKzz: feature request:

Maybe the OS could ignore folders/files which are set as 'hidden' from file list view, so you can hide Saves folder, OS folder, etc

yea I need to order a larger SD card still as well. Thought about going 16gb, is 8 big enough to fit a full uncompressed n64 set?

Why would you want the full set? Duplicates do you no good and you can only run either NTSC or PAL games. 4GB should fit all the games you could ever want to play. 8GB is bound to be enough.

By full set I was implying the exclusion of region dupes / bad dumps.

Formated with biggest allocation size: 64KB same errors.

Formating with lowest allocation size: after tons of errors I could flash 3 games without problem.

I formated with 2048 bytes in allocation.
Them I've placed first the ED64 folder with OS64.v64 inside.
    Them I've placed the folders #, A, B ... with the roms.

I'm uploading more roms to my SD card now. Be back in a bit.

    But I've got those errors:
    INIT OS: 52
    INIT OS: 54
While browsing my files: select game error: 52
while loading a rom: error 62

Anyway, tons of errors.. maybe something bad soldered in the cart ?

By the way, there's no alphabetic order in the cart ?
Because mine is like this: ED64 them A them #
    errors persist :(
