EVERDRIV64 Have a eeprom save file problem.

im playing RR64（eeprom16k），i found this game was can be saved。i saved this game and reset the
N64，Game save file could be loaded，but i tourn off N64，then turn on the N64 and launch RR64，the
save file was breaken！
I changed 4 type microSD，but the problem was still there，my friend's EVERDRIVE64 had the same
problem!

 

You need to press reset before turning the system off. When you press reset the ED64 writes the save file onto the SD card.

 

please read this becareful！i have press reset and turn off N64，then turn on ，but now the save file is lost!!

 

did you make sure your sd card didnt have the read only switch set

 

the other games like zelda could be saved and loaded.
i didnt set SDcard read only.

CIC-6102 - NTSC Region
CIC-7101 - PAL Region

>> The ED64 (without case) with the CIC-7101 chip (PAL) installed, work on a USA console?

>> ED64 NTSC (CIC-6102) + USA Console: Can I run PAL and NTSC games with this combination? Or only NTSC Roms?

>> Is there a CIC chip capable of running all the N64 games? If yes, what? If yes, there is the possibility to install this chip in the ED64?

>> Currently, what are the games that do not work on ED64?

>> Can I upgrade OS / firmware via USB or SD Card? Or only with the USB Blaster?

I bought an ED64 in a few days, I'm expecting him to come.

stupid USB blaster won't work ...grumble.... Anybody know if there is some trick in getting the drivers to install for the mini usb blaster? Tried 3 different OS versions on two different machines and no luck.

 

Do you have Quartus II installed on any of those machines?

 

Versions 11.0, 10.1, and 9.3, on all of them.

 

Did you go to Device Manager and install the drivers?

 

First install drivers and try plugging in mini usb into a port you haven't plugged it into. Next if you get a jtag server error try using quartus II standalone programmer like I did.

 

Apparently 9.1 SP2 is the one to use...

 

10.1 works for me.

 

So , I'm in Asia , where do I get one of these?

Is there any group-buy in any gaming forum that I'm not aware of ?

 

There are a list of resellers on his site (krikzz.com). Many will not be in stock because they sell quicker than they can be made. No group buy for this product. I would imagine sales would need to slow before a group buy would ever happen. It may be a very long time before that happens.

 

Ah , Thanks for the info. It seems all resellers reside in either the US or Europe. Probably be a hassle for me to get after sell services due to mailing cost. Well I'll wait for group buy to happen in the future in guess.
