Thanks for your quick answer ! What a big mistake... So (i want to be sure), for my PAL N64 (i'm living in France), the CIC 7101 is the good one ?
yes, you should use 7101 if you have pal system. but to be sure that your system is PAL you need to check sticker on the bottom of your system. if you get those cic6105 from the cart which works on your system, then it meant that you have NTSC n64 http://membres.multimania.fr/greatfunky/hpbimg/serial.jpg
Wow, the ED 64 seems much pickier about the brand or type of SD cards than the other ED's! But finally, after the third SD card that I tried, my ED 64 is working, and it is working great. I simply love it, and the NES emulator is a nice addition. Thankd Krikzz, and it would be great if my 4th ED could be a PCE ED. :love2:
Hello guys! Someone can tell me why my ED64 sometimes gives "error: 110"? This is normal? And what does "error: 110"? And why does my ED64 sometimes gives black screen when loading the OS? Watch this video I've made. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5eR3fudR7Q If anyone could ever answer me, I would appreciate.
i pretty sure that problem in your SD card. error 110 mean that cart can not init SD card, false OS/games loadings by same reason. try yo use another sd card. will be better it will be full size SDHC card
Really, the problem was with the SD card  I exchanged it for another and now the ED64 is working perfectly thanks
EverDrive 64 PAL The next time EverDrive 64 becomes available on retrogate, will there be PAL EverDrive 64's among them?
yes, in next batch will be available pal and ntsc versions. currently i have a lot of PAL shells and cic, so it is not a problem anymore
At last i caught RG site with pal ed64's available and bought one! MD SNES and now N64 cant wait to play conkers
FINALLY!!! Got my hands on one!!! Thanks Harp00nx and Shambler for letting me know. Now i have all the Everdrive goodness I need. until Krikzz develops his next project.
Ah, my patience pays off. Thanks KRIKzz! Got one! Just gonna use my Blitz game for the CIC and shell. Now we play the waiting game...
I used two old EA-Lames for my CIC's and shells, they turned out very nice, just need to develop some artwork and make the stickers up for completeness sake. Now would be the perfect opportunity to buy "the works" as all of them are in stock. A serious question for Krikzz, does the ED series take any any notice of the "card insert" switch on the SD socket? I want to desolder them and move them to a position where the card won't protrude in order to make them "Kid-Safe" (and adult safe DOH!) A less serious question for Krikzz, what becomes of all those sports games that you strip for CIC's? :-Þ
all ED carts don't care about "card insert". almost all ntsc donors is a various sport games or bare boards which is was supplied by stoneagegamer, but PAL games unfortunatelly not. one guy sent me a lot of PAL carts and there is a lot of good games. some of them i leave for my collection.
Might be because your using a micro sd card which everdrive 64 can be sensitive to. Try regular sd card.
Hey Krikzz, Ordered a ED64 from retrogate 2 days ago. Will this have the latest firmware installed? i suspect it would. just wanted to check. Thanks
