Hey, I'm from another forum, I was wondering what the price of this was looking like?

I am not guaranteeing these prices because things can quickly change, but I will give you a range that I am estimating right now based on what Igor has said.

    Board Only: $100 - $120
    Deluxe: $150 - $180

I imagine a lot of people will be on board for a deluxe this go around since this one will involve soldering a cic. Also you've out done your self on the n64 logo.

All this recent N64 flash cart talk has prompted me to dig my V64 out...

Would rather have a cart solution though.

I'm anxiously waiting for these to show up, with 6102 and case, at StoneAgeGamer's site! I'll definitely be getting one, as my N64 is the only cart-based system I don't have a flash cart for.

Hey Krikzz, excellent work. However, I do not know if you know about Marshall's version...

He want $200 for one. So make yours cheaper and I think we have a winner. haha.

I don't think mixing projects subjects is a good idea. Even putting this as a competition.

my 2 cents here: let's focus only in the everdrive and Igor's work.

I think it's natural they be compared. I'm sure somewhere down the line someone will do a comparison like what was done with the powerpak as well. Actually I would love to see the everdrive compared with the 64drive when they are both out.

I agree. Honestly the sooner we can start comparing the better. Obviously we can't compare too much right now, but as details come out we can compare those specific things.

Obviously once both are on the market I am sure someone will do compare of both.

Flash carts are expensive and knowing another one is right around the corner that with all evidence that it will be cheaper it would be smart to wait and see.

I am sure both carts will be great, the question is which little features and cost differences does each cart have over the other that will make each customer lean one way or the other.

There is also a lot of false information already spread about the ED64. Not sure who's spreading it or if its just people jumping to their own conclusions, but it seems a lot of people assume its just going to be the current EverDrive hardware with its current "limitations" made to work on a N64. This is obviously not the case.

    everdrive64 video

ok, now i ready to demonstrate result of 2+ months work over n64 project
    EverDrive 64 youtube video
saves and graphics interface not implemented yet.
but wee can see loading speed(may be will be increased), and some fun with NES ROMs :)
OS will be have option for associate some file extensions with emulators which can be placed somewhere on SD card. for example i can associate all .nes file with /emulators/nesemu.v64, after if i will try to load any .nes then emulator will be started automatically.

    fat32 and SDHC already supported

Load times are great. I never knew you could play emulators on an N64 either.

This is very exciting! Was any one else like me that when they saw the Nes option got really excited and was anxiously waiting through the video for him to show that?

Also out of curiosity how good is the NES Emu? just wondering if it will support odd ball mmc5 games and stuff like that.
