Oh, I do. I've finished it many times, just like the first one - and I just finished again last night. I really enjoyed it (again). I probably could've finished it faster, but I've been rather busy for the past few days. I wonder if there will ever be a Portal 3...
Recently completed the point-and-click PC adventure game called Harvester. What a strange game. Creeped me out in a way few other games can.
I finished Luigi's Mansion last night. I think I've finished it a few times, but it had been a while. It's one of those games that I've played through parts of it many times, but only finished it a few times. I've had this game - the same copy, in fact - since it was released, along with the Gamecube, on November 18, 2001. I got a Gamecube, Luigi's Mansion, Rouge Leader, and a memory card (I already had another controller). I think the first time I finished Luigi's Mansion, it took me a few weeks. This time, it only took me 2 days. I used a guide for some parts of it. It's one of my favorite Gamecube games. It's pretty impressive for a launch game, and really fun. It's pretty obvious that it's influenced by Resident Evil - like the clips of Luigi opening doors, for example. The basic concept of the game - sucking up ghosts with a vacuum cleaner - is sort of a rip off of Ghostbusters. Overall, it's a great game. I played the game on my CRT computer monitor using the official Wii component cable through a component to VGA converter, which gives a much better picture than what I was using before - which was basically the same thing built into a cable. I think the cable is what made a difference. I now have a component switch for the Wii and the Xbox, so I don't have to manually switch the cables (which is what I was doing for a while). I also have the official Xbox HD pack.
I just finished Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 on the PS3. Now I'm about 80% complete in The Simpons: Hit and Run for the good old Xbox. I'm also playing A Link Between worlds for the 3DS.
Carmageddon (DOS) - Not the first time, but played through it again since the Public Beta is next week
Yesterday I finished Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on the WiiU. I really liked it. The game has a very nice lenght, it isn't extremely short and it you can spend a few more hours with it after you finish it if you want to do everything. The gameplay is a bit simple but really fun and it doesn't get repetitive. The graphics are amazing. And today I finished Ultimate Spider-Man on the PS2. I remember playing it a bit when I was younger but never finished. This year I got a new copy and decided to give it a try this weekend. I had fun with the game but the chase sequences were more frequent than I wished and it got a bit repetitive and boring. The visuals are very good for a PS2 game, the gameplay is cool and the music is good as well. I just wished the story was better and the volume on the cutscenes were higher but playing as Venom was very fun.
Just finished Astal on Saturn. It's a charming game with really nice graphics. Controls took a bit getting used to. Only downside is the annoying alarm that's hinting you about what bird move to use (kind of like Navi in OoT).
Finished final fantasy vii for the first time, which is also the first time I've finished a final fantasy game, despite having played nearly all of them. Sephiroth was a total chump, beat him first try! To further hammer in the point that I've never beaten a FF game before, I was unaware that they end with a field of stars and you're suppose to reset the console at this point.
Dragon Age Origins a couple weeks ago for the first time. I got the game for 6 bucks. Surprised how much I liked it as normally not much a WRPG fan but loved it.
I finished Earthworm Jim 2 the other day. I've probably played through that game about a hundred times, but it never gets old. I still love it 20 years after it came out, and I still have the exact same copy. Right now I'm trying to finish Panzer Dragoon Orta. One of the best games on the Xbox, I think. I got close to finishing it once, but it was on the 360 and I didn't realize that the Xbox emulator for the 360 has a glitch near the end of the game that makes it impossible to complete it. I'm playing on an original Xbox this time, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Recently i've finished Half-Life 2 Episode Two,i never had a chance to Finish this game since it was Released and what a sad (Incomplete) End scene, Waiting is killing me where the F.... is Half-Life 2 Episode 3,or Half-Life 3 or whatever will it be ...
Finished GTA: San Andreas on the 360 (HD port). Bit glitchy but still enjoyable. I've not played that game since it was originally released on the PC so it was interesting playing it after 10 years.
in to report that I finally completed all Classic, level 9-related challenges in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Even the one where you don't have to lose a single life. Mind you, I was handed my ass for days before mastering the details. 8/140 Challenges left, no hammers will be used.
The Order 1886, in one sitting last night. I really liked it, it is kinda like a very upgraded FMV's in the 90's.
Yeah, I think I do actually. I played them both as a kid and I have both of them now, but 2 was the first one I owned. I have some really great memories associated with that game. That game, along with stuff like Weird Al and Ren and Stimpy were very influential on my sense of humor as a kid, and continue to influence me now. As far as why I like 2 more, I'm not sure. It's just really weird in a way that's brilliant, I think.
