Just finished Rallisport Challenge 2 career mode with the extra DLC, first in every event. The last Canadian hillclimb track was painful, my best (& only first place) time is 3:19.077. I beat every event using a cobra racing wheel, with the damage model on high every time. The only thing I see left to do is to complete every event with a first place in every race of that event, not just getting lucky & skating by with 3rd/2nd. Excellent game. Was my favorite as a kid just for how fun it was to crash, & as an adult I really began to respect the game play. Best Xbox racing game, & probably my favorite rally game overall. Dirt is a great game, but it's huge focus on advertising stuff like monster & potato chips & having celebrity voice overs & all the other unnecessary bullshit really takes away from the experience. Rallisport Challenge 2 is straight to the point with easy to navigate menus & no garbage to get in your way of racing.
You should maybe check out Dirt Rally, which is now in Steam early access (yeah, I know...), which is radically different from the previous games in the series, although it's apparently a hardcore simulator and not exactly similar to Rallisport Challenge. I've heard Dirt 3 was actually good, but the "DRINK MONSTER ENERGY BRO" presentation and the focus on stupid shit like gymkhana instead of actual racing put me off it.
Over the ASSEMbler break I finally finished Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Started when it came out and once again within the past 2 years, but corrupted saves kept me from progressing. Restarted it, took the light side path and had a great time with it. Moved straight into KoTORII with the TSLRCM and M4-78 mods. Loving this one just as much.
Just finished Tomb Raider (2013) on PC. Good game, well worth the price i paid in the last Steam Winter Sale.
Im a big RPG fan. Just finished playing "Xanadu Next", an obscure, but fun JRPG from Famicom (makers of Y's). Not sure what to play next...Y's VI OR Onimusha?..hmmm
Finished the main quest line of the Lonesome Road DLC for Fallout: New Vegas the other day, that game is awesome, best Sci-Fi RPG ever (at least until Fallout 4 is released
I finished Real Myst the other day. I've played Myst and Real Myst before, but never got very far in either. It was a little different than I expected it would be based on what I'd seen before, and that's a good thing, I think. I really enjoyed it. The puzzles are kind of difficult, but the guide I used was very helpful. I'm not sure that I would've been able to finish it without a guide. I thought the story was pretty interesting, and it's conveyed in a very interesting way. The music and sound effects are really good. Real Myst is a pretty good remake of the original Myst; it looks pretty much the same, but has realtime 3D graphics, as you'd expect. Considering when this game came out (2000), the graphics were pretty impressive. Now that I've played this, I want to play its sequels at some point. It's too bad there was never a realtime remake of Riven. I also want to play Shenmue and Resident Evil (GC remake) and possibly Earthbound at some point in the near future.
I thought so, too. Just as good as F.E.A.R. for me. I still have to finish 3, but it's not nearly as good.
recently i finished Resident evil revelations 2 and resident evil 5 co op with my wife currently playing some phantasy star
After 44 hours I finished The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the PS4. When I went to the store to buy it I was thinking that it wasn't a very good choice but I bought it anyway. After a few hours playing it, I was very happy that I had bought it. This game is amazing. Everything about it is very good: the OST, the graphics, the gameplay, the story, the setting, etc. This is the best game that I have played this year so far.
Just platinum'd Until Dawn. Pretty good story, plays similarly to Heavy Rain, but with a lot more atmospheric exploration.
Just finished Panzer Dragoon Saga. Epic game, great atmosphere. Didn't mind the short length but it was a bit on the easy side.
No. This was my first game from this series and I don't really feel like playing the other 2 right now.
I really want to launch into 3, but I wasn't sure if it would be confusing or story-ruining. It doesn't seem to be that one from what I've been seeing.
