    (O_O) Oh my eyes....

As Chinese,I can hardly believe you love HW clone like this so much.....lol

And with about $25,you can get GBA HW clone for 2G internal storage and 99999 in 1 integrated, and support GBA cartridge of course.
    http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=17741255501

    =P

And with a little more money. You can get an almost perfect GBA HW clone model. This HW clone solution is designed years ago by a player called Bro. Zhou.
AFAIK,the timing is almost perfect compare to real GBA.And all official peripherals is supported with additional bonus internal memory for saving money on buying another flash cart.
Most GBA HW clones on market nowadays are re-clone or simplified clone of this solution.

That link says the clone is 165.00 yen. That can't be right. 165yen?? A can of coke cost 120yen in Japan. I think I'm reading the site wrong..

CNY(Y means Yuan) is not JPY(Y means Yan)

100 JPY almost equals 1 USD
    1USD = 6.13CNY

So 165 CNY is about 26USD or 2600 JPY

And by the way, arcade game coin in China is usually 1 CNY for 2 coin/credit with 1 credit per game/continue.Much cheaper than that in Japan. And 355 ml Coke is 3 CNY here(50 JPY).

Mine was definitely not new when I got it. Think it was refurbished.
One of the security stickers at the top has been removed and there is some scuffing.
The screen protector also came half way off and scratched so there is dust all under the screen.
The link port also has a random piece of metal sticking in it. I think from something being soldered to the board for repair.

Ah, I see. I thought that couldn't have been what I thought it was. Still, 2600 yen is cheap.

Sounds like you got ripped off. Mine was 100% new. not a mark on the system at all with the security screw still covered. The screen does scratch really easily though. Cheap plastic for sure but for the price I paid i can't complain.

I wish the K1 GBA was still available, last time I emailed them they said the site was actually sold out and they no longer made the gba sp version :\

Their shop claims the blue one is available right now. Can't hurt to try ordering...
There's other versions? Really? I always prefered the old, non-SP form factor, if those exist I'll have a new "mini-grail" to hunt for!

I was heard that the button feeling on K1 SP model is a little bit harder than the new K101 model. And lack of RTC feature.

And here is the designer support forum(not official but the designer seem there often)
    http://tieba.baidu.com/p/1747578059
And here is the designer's online shop, the price is $50:

Don't bother with the K101 Revo. If you're like me and scaling really bugs you don't get it. The buttons feel really cheap and it came with a few dead pixels when I go it.

yeah, I do think the scaling would bug me somewhat, need to get a DS Lite again (mine broke) so I can combine my ak2i with my ez4lite, worked great for GBA flashcart support with AKAIO loading to the ez4 memory

I would rather DIY a front light for my game boys than buy a new one.it's much cheaper and I enjoy the processing of DIY.

I found some front light panels for game boys in aliexpress.com It's a 4-LED front panel. White LED and I put in front of the game boy LCD. it works perfect.

You can see my DIY Game boys below.

No kidding. You'd think having it disassembled for modding would be the perfect chance to give it a good scrubbing...
