I completely understand what you're saying but regardless, GSSH was still enjoyable

If anything I'd say Namco is the one that's getting screwed. The only version of Soul Caliber II that I bought and loved (despite having all three versions) was the Gamecube version because Link just fits in better than Heihachi and Necro in the Soul caliber universe. I wouldn't buy it on a Sony or MS console either way...They'll most likely come to their senses release it for the Wii U if they're smart

No, everybody hates the WII U, Gamers, Publishers, Journalists. The Gamecube Version of SC 2 is the only one I don't have (yet)
Maybe If Nintendo treated 3rd parties better it would be on it's way.

Huh, it must be nice living in the '80s and refusing to move on from the time period. Personally, I would prefer the '90s, but that's me.

If nobody want to delveop for Nintendo.... it would make perfect sense to assume that they still don't treat 3rd Parties well no?

There's more to it than that. The Wii has a decent install base, but the WiiU isn't there yet. That could scare devs away (why bother making a game for a system fewer people have?). There might be something about the Wii(U) that makes it hard to develop for, or something else that raises dev costs to not make it cost effective.

It's possible that they don't treat 3rd parties well, but it's also possible there are other issues at play here.

Nintendo's portables seem to be get good support, so I dunno. They pretty much own the portable market though, so it is possible devs are willing to put up with some difficulty to release there...

Again, we don't know the whole picture and because of that, I don't think you can jump to conclusions.

It's clearly a hardware issue. Devs just wanna get the most bang for their buck by porting their games to as many systems as possible. You can't port a game that was developed to stretch the hardware of the PS3 and 360 to something as nerfed as the Wii U. Even more so when we're talking PS4 and Xbone.

It might be a combination of everything too, Nintendo not being good to 3rd Parties, Hardware of the WII U and a still low Install base.

Though 5 million in less than a year is nothing to sneeze at.

    i think for nintendo to thrive again, it needs to take a LOT of inspiration from its defining era...;
    the snes era.

Maybe it's time for Nintendo to step down, swallow it's pride and Paint on somebody else's Canvas. But they're too prideful and Stubborn to even do that.

Depends on what you mean by "well". Guess they're making money off that Hatsune Miku garbage at least. Meanwhile, Yakuza 5, the latest entry in one of Sega's last remaining non-shitty franchises still hasn't left Japan.

Sega isn't even a ghost of what they were when they were a 1st party. They're more like a parasite that took over Sega's dead corpse.

Hey now Project Diva is oddly addictive.

And it's official the Wii U is the new XBOX One

I don't care how Nintendo fan boy you are there is NO WAY you can defend them on that front.

Seriously Between milking Mario for all he's worth, not taking risks on anything new, Antiquated policies, 3rd Parties jumping ship at an alarming rate. Refusing to fire people (Face it some people at Nintendo need to be fired) and Virtual Console Price Gouging How can anybody still support Nintendo? Say what you will about Microsoft but they at least knew that they were fucked and did something about it. Nintendo's head is so far up their own ass they don't realize how fucked they are. The 3DS is the only thing keeping them afloat right now.

I'm sorry, but I've never met a person with so much hate for the company that Made gaming what it is today. Milking Mario? If you don't like Mario games then that's okay, but from a business perspective, Your beloved Sony wishes they could establish characters like Mario. Shit, who remembers Crash Bandicoot? Spyro The Dragon? What exactly happened to them? You have to at least give props to Nintendo for Being able to keep Mario alive for so long. And the funny thing is, everyone complains "Ugh another Mario Game" yet they keep their mouths shut after they played and realized Mario Galaxy wasn't a carbon copy of Mario 64. Sony and MS have done a lot of experimenting this gen on us which will affect us for the newer gen but Nintendo is just so horrible. You really need to chill out. To be Honest, I'd strongly agree with you if Nintendo's games were actual shit. Ratings don't lie. And BTW if you read your little article thoroughly, you would know they were talking about Japanese indie developers and that they said they currently weren't accepting (Keyword Currently). They can either change their mind or not. Deal with it. I don't hear you bitching about Sony's current psn library not being compatible on the PS4. And for the record, Neither MS or Sony takes risks either. Look at the majority of next gen games. They're either FPS or Third Person games. Nintendo definitely is the only one that cant takes risks right? Grow up. Your hatred is childish. Bet money you were one of those tools defending Sony when the outage happened and forced us to agree on the anti-suit policy. I don't care how much of Sony fan boy you are there is NO WAY you can defend them on that front.
