Damn, you guys talking about the Saturn made me really regret selling it all those years ago. Still have a couple games for it too. Anyone know where I can get one modded with all the good stuff?

Myself international isn't out of the question to mod Saturn. Still clearly better uses of my money than absurd postage involved.

Does anyone not treat Europe like shit though? I mean, the only time that I can recall you guys treated better than your US brethren was with the Saturn (you got Deep Fear, Keio Flying Squadron 2, Mega Man X3, and likely a lot more stuff that I'm not recalling off the top of my head).

Actually, you guys got treated pretty well with the Dreamcast as well what with Shenmue II, Evil Twin, and Headhunter.

Back on topic, yesterday's Nintendo Direct was a joke right? Rayman has a super mario outfit... Nintendo needs new IP and more Pilotwings/FZero to get me to buy a WiiU. It's frustrating to see that they are notinvesting the money they made on the Wii into developing new stuff, I'm sick of Mario and I'm sick of Remakes of Zelda. That E3 Zelda demo from 2 years that's what I want, I never finished Wind Waker 'cause I thought it was boring, why would I buy it again?

Every day Nintendo does something to piss me off. Today the list is too long. Suing people, refusal to realize the Wii U is failing. Putting Mario in everything (See Rayman Legends, Tekken Tag 2 U)

And Oh woopie fuckin doo Recca is coming to VC...

Yup, they're absolutely not doing the right things, they're going niche big time!!! I'd be sad to see them go like SEGA but they seem to be heading that way. It would be outrageous to call Wii U, a Dreamcast repeat, because SEGA had the games and it was a fantastic system gone too soon, but it feels like it. Major store dropping a new system isn't a good sign

Games like the Last of Us make me want to stick with Sony, there's nothing really exciting me on Xbox One or Wii U, my next gen decision is getting firm. Nintendo really feels like old news...

The 3DS won't last forever. Loyal Nintendoists will stay on but kids will grow up and move on to PS4 or XBOX One some may already have moved on to 360.

It is nice Recca is getting a release but that's a really random ass game to suddenly put on VC...ON 3DS. When On the crapper I do not want to be in bullet hell. Maybe a handful of diehards will nab it. Nintendo should look into releasing Gimmick on the VC both Wii U VC and 3DS DC that's a game that deserves recognition.

The Wii U is looking Less Dreamcast and More Virtual Boy. The 3DS is doing ok for now but how much longer can that keep it's foothold? 2-3 years when the 3DS sales start slowing down and the Wii U is long dead what does Nintendo do then?

Yes, the 3DS is doing "OK". It's outselling everything under the sun, so it's certainly doing "OK".

The 3DS will continue to sell as long as it keeps getting the games. Plain and simple. That doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

As for what Nintendo will do in 2-3 years, who knows. I think this year and next will tell the tale for the Wii U. If Mario Kart 8, SM3DWorld, and SSB don't help the thing pick up in sales, then I suspect Nintendo will put out another console that will be as powerful as the "current gen" at that time.

Though speaking as someone with basic logic skills, Nintendo games rarely need flashy graphics and people only buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games, so why they need "next-gen" graphics is beyond me.
