Upper limit has this strange aspect to it. On PS4 the upper limit is 520 days, yet there are real activation files exceeding this, so it stands reason that it it may be unlimited length of time But in the end, it really doesn't change much since any kit has the ability to be activated, so if you're considering value then it's no different from a regular expired PDEL. Did you plan to use it for anything in particular? If so, just know the same is doable on a PSTV and Vita
Just tear the Dev kit apart and have a peak, I only open the up layer (CP I guess?) huge different from retail version.
Make sure to dump the flash on that thing for future study. BTW don't unplug the GCP board or it will mess with the RTC, I did that on mine and now it doesn't keep date.
Correct. It's VERY different from the retail side. Nothing we haven't seen before but still enjoyable to see. I will say - if you do plan on selling it, I want to be first in line. This as well, it will potentially mess with the activation.
I don't plan to use it for anything, just playing around with the development software and then put it in my collection. Oh ```````` my friend agree to let me show where it came from I think I can reset the RTC and then try to activate Dev Kit?
If you have the key for it then you can activate up till 2020 but I would highly advise against messing with it otherwise since it can deactivate the system.
Okay, got it, I will try if I got the expire message. Thanks for the tips The dev PSN account is still in the Dev kit(and I also got the password), and also got serval friends in the address book, I think I won't show the picture but if you have interest with it, you can PM me. cheers
I have a PS Vita testing kit PTEL-1001 expired but i can not do anything to reactivate it. the more experienced ones can help me
oops``````got this after serval reboot and rebuild the database Maybe I should ask my friend for afv files
Yep you deactivated the kit..... Mind trying something? once booted hold the power button and select power off, then after a couple seconds turn the kit back on, is the expired text still there? Do not remove the power cable during this.
In my case if I do that the text goes away, still not activated but no more text which is nifty but I completely took mine apart so not sure what I did to cause it. Check your date as maybe setting it back to what it should be will fix it? I doubt it but hey worth a shot.
I will try to change the time and see if it works. Nope``````still the same, and it also refused to run henkaku even it was successfully installed.
