Thanks, guys, but I'd like to keep the CD added on as well as play CD games in RGB. The external solutions that use the Turbo Booster port are occupied by the CD unit. The only route is an internal hardware modification. I read a thread a while back regarding Joe Redifer's (Game Sack) TG16CD mod. I believe he was successful, but it looked pretty sketchy from what I recall.

You would have to do it internal. Should not be too hard though. The biggest issue would probably be taking it apart and putting it back together as I think its 3 boards sandwiched together IIRC. you would just solder the amp to the pins on the expansion port inside the CD dock and add an external port. sort of like how they did here to an IFU-30 (pc engine equivalent).

I would not recommend using the transistor based mod they did though or the pinout they used. just and example of how it would be done as there doesn't seem to be anyone that has posted a tutorial on the TG16 cd dock.

I also have a kit for sale a few threads down. that one you linked to would not line up since its on the other side so you would have to solder it on with wires anyway. but you can use whatever you want.

    edit:
this was wrong, you can put the rgb mod in the TG16. You just need to get your audio out of the CD dock so would need to use 2 different cables.

Any possibility I could get an add for a switch? I would love one of your units if you have one unclaimed :)

No one is being added to anything at this point. You have to wait like the rest of us.

Read the OP, please stop bumping this thread asking to be added to lists, there aren't any lists to be added to.

    Thank you!

Guys, I've updated the 1st post.
Please make sure you've read everything there and also in the pre-order link.
I'd like to mention that we decided not to include power supply for Europe ($215), that will be easier for us to manage. Later I'll try to find some links from where you can buy your 220V PSU in case you don't have any extra Mega Drive / NES / Jaguar one.

Once we get enough pre-orders I order everything, it gets here I assemble & test and RetroRGB is shipping those to you. The estimation is mid March.

NES PSU is AC in Europe, not DC.

I don't think many people would have, or want to use, a spare console PSU. It would seem sensible to have done a country count with the pre-order and order suitable PSUs. If I were paying that much for a SCART switch, I wouldn't expect to have to go out and buy something else to make it work.
