There might be one or two extras when we get the full shipment in next month. I'll post on Twitter and Facebook, as well as here if there are any.

    Yes, that is correct.
Technically it's VGA, not regarding to display mode but rather to physical hardware signal. You can't say it's 15khz because signal is forwarded. For instance it's possible to forward 31kHz Dreamcast signal just fine.

    Lucky preorderer here.
I am a little confused with all the talk about VGA.
I have a Sony PVM 2130QM that has a VGA style Input on the back that is labelled "RGB".
Could I just connect the VGA output of the switch with that or do I risk blowing the monitor?
    Cheers

Seems like I missed the preorder, but they all were for NTSC consoles right and not for PAL?

If this online manual is to be believed ( http://www.manualslib.com/manual/1007621/Sony-Trinitron-Pvm-2130qm.html?page=2#manual ), it looks like that port has 9 pins, not the 15 that VGA uses. I don't know if it is following an existing standard or not, but it would require some conversion to work properly.

I'm not sure that this applies - the unit should accept PAL or NTSC consoles' signals. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong; I hope I'm not, I just ordered one!

It seems I am late to the party. When will there be another chance to order one of these? Looks amazing.

This is the version for every console that outputs RGB over Scart. There will be a JP21 (japanese "Scart") version as well. JP21 and Scart are very similar looking but output different signals on different pins. So every console that outputs RGB to Scart can also output to JP21. Again, this is the Scart version. If you got Scart cables for your consoles (does not matter if they are US, JAP or PAL), the switch you ordered is the correct one.

As retrorgb pointed out - there will be a few extra switches for the purchase.
I ordered all the parts over the weekend (cases screws connectors plastic components etc.). My manufacturer will start fabrication around February 15th due to Chinese New Year.

You have to read manual on your monitor and create an adapter. Switch gives you both CSYNC and H/V SYNC so I believe it's just a compatible connector issue.

NTSC / PAL doesn't really matter and even if you'll gonna be using the switch only for composite it'll be fine for both PAL / NTSC.

The same time as this batch (not many of those).
Subsequent batches will be quicker so fear not!

Hey, what's the game in your avatar? I had the C64 version of this many years ago and have just had a nostalgia flashback!

Do you have a ballpark idea as to how long a second batch will take? I was waiting to complete my setup until I get the right switch (it looks like this is the right switch) but I'm wondering if it'll be a matter of weeks, in which case I'd hold out, or months, in which case I'd buy a cheap one.
