For the moment you're right, I'm busy shipping the units. After that I'm opening SCART / JP21 preorders for everybody. But once the things will settle down I'll try to resolve the situation with JP21 cables myself.
BTW to be honest I don't know if those $40 cables are OK, you're on your own with this. I won't help troubleshoot any issue with it.

 

Fair enough. I'm also looking forward to seeing more info about the gcompsw, too. I'm actually holding off on buying a component switch until I see what yours is going to have to offer because I respect your work so much and know it will likely be better than what I am currently looking at.

 

I had to buy the "pro" version of the SCART cable from that eBay seller. The regular version she sells caused an audio buzzing issue with the SCART switch. So I'd suggest making sure you buy the "pro" version of her JP21 cable.

 

So, are we looking at a few months of time still before preorders happen for another batch of Euro SCART switches?

Damn, I honestly didn't mean to troll. I backed out on the Bandridge for one reason or another. I misread your earlier post and I thought you were only referring to the JP21 switch.

 

Are the preorders going to be coming up sometime next week ?

 

Some of you may have already gotten tracking numbers through paypal. I'm working on the shipping and I hope I'll finish it this weekend. I'll post all the updates here.

All international orders and some US have been shipped. Tracking number was provided through PayPal.

All the remaining JP21 units has been packed and shipping labels created (The US). Everything will be dropped off tomorrow. If you haven't gotten a tracking number until tomorrow please let me know.
A quick note: for every switch polarity change adapter has been provided due to positive polarity PSU but negative polarity switch. The adapter is supposed to be used by default and I've connected it to all PSU's.
I thank everybody for their purchase and let me know if anything.

Now: I'm currently setting up pre-orders for both SCART and JP21. While I've allocated some funds for it, the pre-orders will help me to order a bigger batch and make both SCART and JP21 versions available at the same time. You'll be able to pre-order your unit either through http://www.gretrostuff.com (my website) or through http://www.retrorgb.com. Both sites will be linked to the same payment system so you don't have to worry where to order. All the units are gonna be shipped directly by me, this way I can save something and provide a good compatible power supply with every unit. The one and only change I'll do is I'll finally change switch polarity to positive. It seems that most users want it anyway so I believe it would be better this way.

 

great news superg - let us know when the links are up! I don't see either able to buy just yet. Do you have an ETA for that?

Respectfully, you made it everyone's business when you publicly called out superg in the thread instead of sending a PM.

I generally like to give benefit of the doubt, with the exception of business dealings, so I suspect you are right here--she dodged you so she could reap the benefits. In the case that she actually could not fill such a large order, she could have simply said as much, and there would've been no hard feelings.
