I pre-ordered one of the switches and I am in the UK. Forgive me if this has been mentioned but is there an option to have the unit supplied without a PSU? I dont have a stepdown transformer so will not be able to use the supplied PSU. This is no big deal to me either way but just thought I would ask to save needlessly shipping a PSU across the Atlantic. :)

I will have to find a suitable 240V alternative. I have a Megadrive 1 PSU which I believe will work?

The PSU I provide is universal, you'll have the UK plug adapter.

SCART version is sold out again :/ Sorry for the inconvenience, I can't go above this limit this time because PayPal withholds a big chunk for 21 days. It's up to PayPal to raise the limit and from what I understand they will do this over the time.

JP21 version is still available for pre-order.

My PayPal payment went through twice for some reason. I only want 1 at the moment so if you could cancel one please. There will be one more euroscart version available...

If I were to hook up an RGB NES through the gscartsw, and then using a VGA to composite adapter connect it to a CRT TV, would I be able to play lightgun games on that TV?

Wondering if I can use that secondary output of the gscartsw for something useful.

And thank you for offering the gscartsw, I can't wait to get mine and declutter my setup!

Lightgun functionality depends only on the TV, as long as your TV supports it - you're fine.

The VGA output on the gscartsw only supports RGB though, right? I'm guessing Adeema would need to get a monitor that supports RGB for this setup to work.

He says he's gonna use "VGA to composite adapter", so it doesn't really matter.

"It will work with laptops and desktops with VGA cards that has TV-Out function capability through the VGA connector" - won't work. You'll need proper VGA to Composite converter box.

There's a note on Facebook that some issue with PayPal is preventing these from being sold, but according to PayPal the JP21 is actually available. Are the Euro SCART switches actually sold out already or are we still waiting on some issue with PayPal?

EDIT: disregard. I got my answer on Facebook. The reply just didn't show up for me until 30 minutes after it was posted.

Ok, so SCART version is sold out. I won't be able to accept more SCART preorders right now because paypal limits what I can withdraw in a month. I'll open those again in 4-6 weeks.
JP21 pre-orders are still active and based on the amount pre-ordered it'll take a few weeks.
Currently I am working on SCART batch.

How many systems are capable of RGB modding that you go beyond 8 ports? I have a NES, SNES, and Genesis, and I can't think of too many others. What am I missing?

Yeah I checked that page after posting and completely forgot about a lot of those systems. Back in the day, just about no one could afford a NeoGeo or 3DO. I've yet to look into what they cost now.
