    Awesome stuff right here!
Missed the previous batch, but got my hands on this one as soon as the pre-orders opened up ;)

Can't wait to try it myself...

One question I didn't find while reading the topic, if multiple consoles are powered on, is it possible to manually switch between them?
Or is it only input 1 priority over input 2 etc...?

Did you just need the "pro" version cable for the male-to-male output cable or did you need to get pro versions for all your input cables too?

Just the male to male connection between the switch and Framemeister, so a pro version male to male SCART cable and a pro version of the Framemeister to SCART adapter cable she sells. Although if I were starting from scratch, I'd buy the pro version of every cable, just to be safe.

Got my male to male JP21 cable and set everything up. Everything worked perfectly - NES, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and SNES. Can't speak of my TG-16 just yet as I am having an issue with it unrelated to the gscartw (removed the switch and the problem was the same, I think my EXT cable is dead). I am sure once I resolve the issue, it'll work great too. No loss, no lag, like it's not even there. Thanks again superg for making a fantastic product.

    Pre-ordered the SCART switch!

I'm thinking of using one of the outputs to run to my elGato HD capture device (component input). Has anyone else achieved this via SCART or VGA out? I'm assuming I will need a powered device to convert the signal to be compatible with component-in on the capture card.

Hi, Had a question, hopefully not a repeat question from earlier...For some reason I thought the switch had two outputs. (My Shinybow does, maybe a mental mix up on my part). No problem, but I wondered - Would there be any potential issues, splitting the output signal so that I could send a signal to an XRGB Framemeister, and then a secondary output to a TV via a SCART to component adaptor? (My Tv has component inputs) Can't see why this wouldn't work but don't know if the signal quality would degrade, latency, or anything else? Ok Any information appreciated. Thanks,

The switch has a SCART output and a VGA output, which work simultaneously as far as I know. So you could send the SCART to the framemeister and use the VGA output to your TV. A VGA to Component/RGB cable is required for this I think.

Oh wow - that's great (if so) didn't know that was an output (thought it was an input but makes sense).

Hmm, would I want to get something like this: https://amzn.com/B009GUQIPG (around $50 us), or could I go with something cheap like this? https://amzn.com/B00579ETMY?

I think I would need the first option because my TV would expect component signal (not RGB, etc)

You'd need the converter. Someone else asked a few pages back. On 57.

Thanks - so the converter...hmm...I wonder if I split the SCART output into two, and fed that to existing SCART to Component box I have if I get the same / similar results?

2nd one is not a converter at all.
You better use two outputs of the switch rather than splitting the SCART output. "Mauricio" from this forum managed to achieve a similar setup (SCART goes to one output and VGA goes through component converter to component CRT TV), maybe PM him and ask what exactly he has used.

If you really want to, I had no visible loss of quality in splitting the SCART signal through a Shinybow splitter/distributor box. But that was just part of testing; I eventually moved to a combo of VGA out and SCART.

Could you use a VGA - SCART RGB cable on a CRT with a SCART input or does the VGA output have to be converted to be used on CRT's?

I remember reading somewhere the VGA port outputs full RGB?

There is a ON-OFF switch which toggles between composite sync (what's used in SCART-RGB) and HV sync (what's used in VGA). In composite mode all you need is just properly wired VGA->SCART cable.

Great, that simplifies things. Planning on using the SCART output into an OSSC into a HDTV. Then use the VGA out into a CRT for light gun games etc. Looking forward to receiving the gscart!

Would this work for then? https://www.ebay.com/itm/361224212922

I already have a SCART to Component, but not a VGA to component box.

Thinking with this on/off switch toggled appropriately on the gscart, everything would work?

    Thanks again.
