I wonder when the UK Top Gear is coming back? Channel 5's Fifth Gear is back on TV and shock horror it features the Stig! Yep, he's left Top Gear or fired or something. He doesn't appear on Fifth Gear as the Stig though but as himself, Ben Collins.

Oh, and all you motoring fix it types, the new series of Wheeler Dealers is now on Bravo UK. That's another fantastic show for car lovers. Also a great way to learn tips on car mechanics.

You didn't hear about that? Collins got fired after he outed himself in his autobiography. BBC even went to court trying to block it from being published.

 

Wow, I never knew about that. Sometimes living in Japan is like a void to the rest of the world. We know nothing.

 

There has been new episodes airing for a few weeks...though I get BBC2 or BBC:AMERICA.

 

They're not new. It's probably season 15 you're watching which ended in August.

Top Gear is back on the air from Tuesday 21 December at 8pm (GMT) on BBC2. Well, there will be 1 show, then a special on Boxing Day (Dec'26th) followed by the real start of the new series in January. About time too!

Yeh Ben Colins was a dick and broke his contract so he got fired. So he joins the rest of the Top Gear rejects on Fifth gear. Failed racer untrustworthy cunt.

 

I remember hearing somewhere that it was going to be a green Stig . . . can't wait for the show to come back on the air. I'm so looking forward to it.

I'm watching the 15th series right now as a build up to the new series.

 

Isnt the Green Stig he was killed in the car they made by exhaust fumes.

 

I thought that was the black stig . . . I'll do some searching on youtube . . .

Black Stig (Drove off aircraft carrier)

Good to know!!! Also . . . is there honestly an other version of Top Gear worth watching other than BBC Top Gear :shrug:?

I can't speak to the Aussie or Russian Top Gear but so far I'm not caring for the US edition. To be fair though it is only three episodes in so maybe they'll find their groove in time. I kind of doubt it though.
