with Aussie TG they went through few different 3r presenter. the two remaining ones - comic artist and driving instructor(?) - are funny but it seems they are still trying to find 3rd one to fit in... content wise I agree they are still tying to find what works and what not as our taste is somewhat similar to Brits but not the same... saying that I'd love them to go for non-stop race from Sydney to Perth or which ever direction - it is deadly at outback and will be interesting to watch them on bike...
I finally got to watch the show yesterday. Great show indeed. A fantastic way to start the new season. I can seriously understand how they felt with those retarded speed limits. I suffer the same fate here in Japan. Funny how contries that use an auwful lot of automatic transmission cars have low speed limits.
Just download it from Pirate Bay or something. I have the HD version on the Hard Drive if you'd like it uploaded somewhere. It's 1.5GB though however it is 360 compatable
Just watched the Middle East Special in HD on the iplayer and again like all the specials it was great.
Just downloading the HD version now at 3.8MBPS Should be ready to watch in say, 2 minutes Less that 12 hours after the UK air time  The cappers in the UK have been very good this Christmas. So much great TV uploaded in next to no time plus because they always use friendly formats (none of this bloody apple mp4 crap) I can watch them on my TV in HD via the 360.
Strong start, America special was good, and the middle east special was very well done and had a good message to it. Can't wait for this season should make up for the last one.
Exactly! I feel so lucky. I really loved the two specials. I look forward to the series when it properly starts in
I agree. Both of them were great. The ending of the middle east special was so funny i'm still laughting
Ended up watching the Middle East special at a mate's place. I haven't caught any Top Gear in years, was it always this shit? Seemed like an hour or so of hammed-up Clarkson dicking around, and the other two driving behind him. Really? That makes for good TV? I know a lot of you like it, and you could certainly punch holes in my viewing habits. Each to their own, I guess.
It was hilarious to see them dicking around. I can understand if that isn't your cup of tea though. Particularly the fact he somehow managed to dig up what looked like a DSiXL.
Watched the New York special, it was pretty lousy. Hope to catch the Middle East ep again as I had it on the background and wasn't paying much attention.
Saw 16x01 this morning. Awesome! I thought this was funny, http://www.topgear.com/most-liked-c...edium=Facebook&utm_campaign=FacebookLikedCars look at the number of FaceBook "Likes" for each review. I, personally, love the Skoda.
Cheers for the heads up - watching it on iPlayer as we speak EDIT: And is I typed that Clarkson said isn't iPlayer Brillian!
iPlayer, what a load of crap. It won't even work in Japan. Thankfully I saw it in HD  Just finished watching it now. I really enjoyed the show. It was cool to see Tiff on there again. I'm also a fan of John Bishop. Being a scoucer myself I find his humor funny. I wasn't too keen on the joke at the end though. Not all scoucers are illiterate thieving twats.
iPlayer is actually pretty damned good when you're in the UK Yakumo. I have been using it for 3 years now as my main source of video amusment. I'v never really had a problem streaming anything until ntl: introduced traffic shaping, but even then so long as you DL nothing else the SD programs still stream relatively OK on full screen. Occasionally there are issues, but it really is quite rare. The best part is as nothing on there is being broadcast live you do not need a TV licence to view it. ITV player is a crock of shit with regards to programming - not just the software but the content itself. Channel4oD isn't that bad though.
Watched it on BBC 2 and although nothing special for the first episode it was still good especially having John bishop on as i find him very funny and who knew he'd get that fast a time although i'm glad he knocked tom cruise off the top. As for the iplayer i find it works well (when i don't have any wifi or internet problems) and even HD programs are perfect. The only problem i have and this isn't really to do with iplayer but when viewing live programmes (like match of the day...etc) i find the picture quality to be poor.
