Kendo just has a history here of being a little rude in situations he's not in complete control of. I'm sure he's not so bad a guy, but he gets away with acting a little arrogant too easily around here, and he was just recently unbanned(which I was completely unaware of until this thread btw...).

In any case, I don't see why you don't want to take disc pictures. I hope you get emulator shots or SOMETHING, you can't really expect people to give money for something they have no proof of

 

The only way i'm going near this auction is if there are pictures present, either of the discs or in game screens. Please provide them And hello everyone.

Yes, exactly Though I'm with you mostly that this is likely a fake, there's still always just the slimmest chance, and if it were really real you don't want to end up ruining it because you were so certain it was fake when in fact it wasn't.

Sorry if I was a bit too harsh there Kendo, I only just woke up :x In any case, if there really is a disc for sale here, I'm thinking it's really just a demo disc and the OP is confused about what he's got.

 

im sure i may be causing myself with capcom by putting this on ebay, so Im not sure that photographic evidence will cause them to come knocking on my door. I was tempted to keep them, but yeh, due to unforeseen financial circumstances, Ive been forced to sell my collectable, which are really the only things i have of value..and Im not selling my Dreamcast stuff.

 

thats the surprise...i think the best way to clear this situation,are pics of the discs and the ingame...maybe its the 1.5 version or bh 2 beta 1,maybe both games...who knows..i dont see any point to start a private war here..:drink:

 

look im all ears for theories on the disks, could be a demo, could be something else, could even be a mod i guess? but im fairly certain its Beta 1

 

Owning a prototype isn't exactly crime scene evidence =p You'd be doing everybody a huge favor by at least getting it working in an emulator and taking shots. Hows that going?

it would be nice to get a proto for 50 dollar...

I have to admit I haven't really ever even played a RE game and don't care so much for this prototype in comparision to say, Conker's Quest on N64 But it's still a prototype nonetheless, so the more that hopefully get out there, the more other people will follow the same example.

 

im going to get the japanese text written on the disk translated to english by a friend. il post back in a while

 

i think i got my first version of RE in 1998,it was re 2...he he...every proto or beta of re is good..sometimes hacks are good too :033:

The ending characters seem a bit off or at least don't mean anything to me with the rest of the sentence, can you show a picture instead?

ShipDeckSurvivor, make any sense to you? 端を押し is what confuses me, I can't make any sense of it here, and 押し I wouldn't think would end like that without being properly conjugated to a certain tense.

It looks like it's talking about it being the next Biohazard release proposed by Capcom. Since it doesn't say Biohazard 2 but instead just Biohazard, that might imply they hadn't titled it as Biohazard 2 yet?

Rough draft? Hira means uncompleted, It doesn't seem right though. I thought this would be a little katakana not a bunch of kanji haha.
