Well the seller has just emailed me to tell me that Fedex will be knocking on my door tomorrow morning with the board. Woooo! So excited! I'll be photographing/documenting the whole thing. I was thinking of maybe adding some photographs to Chad Gray's tutorial and sticking it on my site as although his MSpaint pictures do the trick a few photos would probably help explain it to complete newbies like myself. Does anyone know where his is or have a working e-mail address for him so I can ask his permission? The details on the archived website and tutorial seem to be dead.
Nah, I think he got pissed off and took it offline. In case you didn't see the other thread, I'm in the process of putting up a site with, amongst other things, a how-to guide for "superguns". I'll probably go with something along the lines of what he did... only different..... *EDIT* wait, it was this thread!! lol, never mind ;-)
Let us know how you get on, whether it's as good as you expected or better? Savour your first arcade hardware! It gets addictive (oh no!) oh yes!
Retro, you asked whether I was getting back into music, and the answer is yes! I now cannot find the thread you queried this in, so it'll do here. I am shattered and off to bed!
Well it arrived this morning. The deal was much much better than I expected. The ebay description and pictures showed a loose cart and unit with no paper work or anything. It arrived complete in the original box with all art work, cabinet stickers, manuals and posters. I'll upload some pics later. Now all I am waiting for is my AT power supply which should arrive tomorrow and then the fun will begin.
Well, here it is, nothing new to most of you I'm sure. I just wanted to stick pics up. Mobo and cart: Cart with extras (manual not shown).
Good stuff! Nice that it was so complete. Now do you see why it won't fit in a Mega CD? Parris: That's cool! Good to hear.
I found the box and artwork for Samurai Shodown 64 Not sure if everythings there, but I framed the poster anyway. Thought I had gotten rid of it
It's a really nice set of things you get with it. I'm trying to find more games to buy but all of them on ebay are sold with the system, it would be good to finish off the set of fighters before I head back to korea. I'm gonna see if I can coerce some of the sellers into splitting the parts up.
Yeah, but put your tin hat on and coat your room in tin foil! I've never seen so much flak flying and arguments on any other site! :033:
True ;-) I know someone selling a Beast Busters cab in Leicestershire. Well, I think he still has it, anyway. It was up for sale a few months back.
Is that sales advert being directed at anyone in particular lol - if you are suggesting I should be buying yet more cabs, my wife would like a word... OH:
;-) Of course, taking a cab abroad is impractical  Oh, and the Mrs. is very much like a cab.... TRADE HER IN FOR ANOTHER MODEL!!
http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=7063 - OMG, that is HUGE! As for the wife comment, I got a glare HA!
Nah, that's not it. You'll find it in the Jamma+ for sale section. I guess it's a UK version? Why, were you considering it? :110: Even better, trade her in for another cab ;-)
Just found it, looks in perfect nick. Surprised he never sold it however! Lack of firm price me thinks!
