I never understood why somebody would like that bitter shit tbh I can drink it if I want to get drunk cheap, but like it no.
Cold beer. If it's any kind of pilsener or lager, that's a plus! Also, I like Guinness stout ... oh how this beer polarizes, you either hear "Oh, a Guinness, can I have one too? Yummy!" or "Eww, how can you drink that motor oil?"
domestic product: Asahi Super Dry, Kirin Premium, Suntory Malt world wide: La Trappe, Rochefort 10, Chimay, Westmale, Franziskaner, Leffe, Hoegaarden etc.
Does Japan generally allow a good selection of imports? Like, here there's a lot of restaurants that carry basically everything you would want, or something very close to it. And by that, I mean if I were to say to myself, "I want a Becks." or "I want a Pilsner Urquell.", could I get it?
Blue Moon Red Stripe Rolling Rock Heineken Samuel Adams Killian It doesn't matter to me. Where I went to school had a ton of good local brews...
WHAT!!! That taste like American piss water For me (being in Japan) would have to be: 1. Kirin Classic Larger Beer (Gold can) 2. Yebisu (Gold can) 3. Kirin Larger Beer (White can) 4. Suntory Premium Malts (Gold can) 4. Kirin Enjuku (ok, not tenically beer but good for cheap stuff) I will drink Asahi if there's nothing else but to be honest it's awful compared to Kirin. Yakumo You'd have to go to a special import beer store to be honest. Some bars will have imports but they are normally all the same brands from Europe.
and using brewery machines from germany as well @yakumo: I'm more the asahi type since very long time. sure I can drink almost everthing here, since no beer is really bad like piss @alec: it depends. there are some very few import beer bars, in which you can order almost every possible belgish beer. then there are the liquor shops which also carry a good potion of belgish drops. the bigger malls also selling some sorts.
I'll second that. Reminds me that i need to pick up a case so I have something to do during this snow storm. Who needs milk, bread and eggs when you can nurse a case of Stella.
