Yeah, Enjuku is only on there because it tastes good for hapushu. I do like my Yebisu but I find it a little too heavy to drink in large quantities which is why it was knocked down to No.2.
That was classic! I think the Stella name comes from the London area originally, so it probably hasn't gone that far North yet. I was told it comes from the strength, which for a Lager in the UK used to be fairly strong. Speaking of which, did you know Lager was introduced in the UK as a Lady's drink? It was to go up with ale and bitter, which at the time was pretty much all men drank.
I wish my paychecks were bigger. I haven't had a Czech night in ages so I think that will be the treat at my next practice.
liquor = liquid death = I pass. My stomach is the only thing that slows down my beer consumption, and liquor means no limits.
Hmmm some years ago I liked cool strawberry beer in the summer time. But now I am not into that either. So back to spirits for me.
I used to go by the Corona beer factory in my city every day on my way to work. There's a local one called "Estrellita" too, which seems to be very popular. The plant is a few blocks from my grandmother's house, so I passed it a lot when I was a kid, too. You can pretty much smell the beer brewing in the area. I don't really like beer, but I recall the smell of the factory from childhood. Is it weird if I dislike beer?
My friends say it's an acquired taste. And lets just say that over the last year, I've acquired it. The taste that is.
I hate beer and alcohol in general. It also takes nothing to get me trashed since I rarely drink. The last time I drank, I downed half a bottle of gin on my own and passed out in my own vomit. I guess that's what happens when you drink your pain away.
I drink almost any type of liquor, but gin is giving me the creeps. I once drank only one glas of gin tonic (it was more like 80% gin because we ran out of tonic) and it made me feel worse than I've ever felt before after a cocktail. I didn't throw up or something, but it gave me a very hard time only about 30 minutes after I had poured it down. >_> Never again!
