Jet Set Radio Future blurred and distorted image (XBMC4Xbox 3.0)

hey! ive got a problem in game Jet Set Radio Future. After lauch i see only distorted lines and the sound of the game (screenshots below)

i burned game to dvd and check it on Softmod xbox - works fine, same dvd on chiped XBMC xbox (XBMC4Xbox 3.0) - distorted lines. i re-burned game, upload game to xbox using FTP same result.

Sounds like you have a 1.6 Xbox?

What cables do you use?

 

No. Dont know how to switch it.

Component Cable. All other games works fine.

 

Maybe the flashed bios on the chip is too dated? I know I've had interesting results with old bios'.. ever have a xbox's boot animation load sideways and in black and white? I have. Fixed the issue with updating the BIOS on the chip. Might be a glitch caused by a similar issue?

 

You have RemoteX installed, Launch that, and then launch JSRF. Report results.

 

Try the dual pack version of the game. If it is a 1.6 box, it is known to glitch graphics like this.

And Toxic, the bios animation can be changed. I have mine boot in black and white wireframe

Yes. I see it. After launch it shows me this screen and nothing happens

 

Do you own the game, or have you pirated it?

 

pirated. i understood what u mean. this game from same dvd works great on other console, but on this... i dont know. maybe problem with region? or something else?

 

It could be down to your Xbox version like Borman said as well. I know one of the Silent Hill games I own, refuses to run on my 1.6, but runs fine on my 1.2.

You could try another dump of the title as well...

 

I'm not lying when I say that JSRF has issued with 1.6 Xboxes...seriously, determine that and off you go

Avalaunch shows - 1.6 :-(

 

You can use CDX to bypass the video encoder issue.

it seems on version 1.6+ Xbox's when 480p is enabled & in certain games, the console has trouble setting the video mode, so you get the scrambled image.

Now, CDX launches the XBE after the video mode is set to 480p thus no more scrambled image.

I have only tested JSRF since it's the only game I own that does this.
(it's the SegaGT & JSRF double disc version)

The below code will load a game instantly, so its basically like loading the original xbe.
save as cdx.inx you will need the rest of the cdx menu items & place the game files into a folder named Game, in the root of the CDX folder.
(You can find it on the net easily)

Woah, woah, woah. Did you just say that you burned a disc and played it in a softmodded xbox?

 

Something wrong? all burned dvd works ok.

 

The smart ass comment, is because you're not FTP your data to the hard disk. You can upgrade your hard disk in a softmod if you wish. Process is a little different to a modchip install.
