Just got back from waiting for Xbox 360's

Well I just got back from waiting with my buddy at Circuit City for his Xbox 360. We showed up at 8 and made a makeshift tent out of a huge tarp and some shopping carts stacked up. It poured down raining the entire time. I couldn't stay the whole night though because I've got my last classes before Thanksgiving break tomorrow. The Circuit City we went to wasn't doing the whole midnight release thing, so he is going to sit there until 10am tomorrow (Tuesday) when they open up. He's 6th or 7th in line though, and a buddy of ours who works there told him that with his place he is guaranteed a premium packgage, the store got a total of 30 360's and 15 of them are the premium bundles.

Well looks like I've got my afternoon planned out already... as long as he isn't sleeping. Knowing him though, he'll get a case of Red Bull and stay up for the next two days. He took off for tomorrow and Wednesday just so he could stay home and play his 360, hopefully he doesn't spend his vacation in the hospital from catching pneumonia from sitting out in the rain all night....

 

Well i missed out because me and my woman had to have a talk....if we didn't have kids.

 

my brothers friend is waitng at a distant target 1st in line, since he foundout that his pre order at gamestop wouldnt be in till about jan, so he withdrew and is now standing in line. I wish the best of luck to those trying to get one at launch, cause reserves seem to be misleading now.

I got my 360 today, premium pack. Only had 2 of the 6 games I ordered though, so the rest will be in tomorrow (Tuesday)

 

Maybe i should think about selling my console on ebay...

 

Just got back from standing in the cold...for 20 minutes. I must say, im impressed. Pictures dont do it justice.

 

Waited all night at Target to get my premium package. Was there from 9:00pm till when they gave out tickets a 6:30am. It was freezing cold and to make it worse windy as hell.

 

I almost said "screw classes" and stood in line with him. I could have put it on my credit card and turned around and sold it on eBay. Knowing me, I would open it up and forget about selling it, and the last thing I need is more credit card debt. I already made the mistake of buying another motorcycle over the summer and putting it on my Visa card. Now I'm jobless and have to scrounge every month just to make payments. Luckily Christmas break is here in a few weeks so I can work my butt off and save up some more money. Maybe I'll buy a 360 this spring if this next semester is light enough for me to hold down a job.

Picked up my premium pack at midnight though I haven't had a chance to open/try it yet since I had to be to work early. I can't wait!

 

Call off work! My buddy took off for the next two days, but then again, he's a much more hardcore Xbox fan than I am... probably borderline insane about it.

I have to drive home for thanksgiving too so I need gas. It's either gas and credit card payment, or gas and food. So it looks like food lost out today.

Been offered £450 for my xbox... not sure where ever i sell now or wait and see if i make a killing come ebay time!

 

MS is bound to have a larger shipment of more xboxes to be available around christmas time.
