Well, I didn't actually come back from waiting for Xbox 360's, but I came back from waiting for super cheap quality laptops! Wal-Mart was beginning their sale at 5 am today. My mom and I decided to go (my older cousin and his friend would've but were too tired). We thought we would be the only ones there. Seems like it was 5 pm not 5 am other there. There were so many people! The tension was in the air; there were only 25 laptops for sale! I've never been to any shops the day after Thanksgiving, but man, it was a hassle over there! You guys gotta be careful for these crazy shoppers out there. Unfortunately we didn't get the laptop, and the only thing I managed to get was another AOL disc to my collection ...
Lol, I bet the AOL disc was cheap... How cheap are we talking on the laptops? I was gunna go to the black friday sells but I can't find a ride. It's 6:30am here anyhow so I'm sure it's packed everywhere. Walmart and some places were selling games for 7-12, good ones too. Damn.
The AOL disc was free of course. :icon_bigg The laptops were regularly priced around $700, but were going to be sold for around $300 at Wal-Mart. It was going to be a little Christmas present for my mom and my dad's laptop is slowly dying, and so they needed an upgrade.
How is it? We didn't really know the quality of the laptop and if it would give a major difference from our Pentium III 20 GB HD laptop (I don't really know that much about AMDs).
I dont know much about them. My mom wanted one for watching DVDs and scrapbooking stuff. She is using it to watch a DVD right now and its working pretty good. Ive been preocupied playing ZOE 2 instead of messing with the Laptop, though.
