It will be great if you could also support VA0. Currently MNEMO's device is the only one that supports VA0 and it is way too costly IMO, I understand for its high cost but it still does not justifies the price and it firmware update seems slow and some features are missing.

I did not mean to take any form of credit! :) Was just sharing my idea. I am sure in future more features like multiple playlist can be supported. But we have to wait for this upcoming firmware update first.

I'm laughing here, Photobucket is offering to sell me a canvas print of your photo. Where do you buy those SD card adapters?

no official links to dcio, as i have no deivce for market/sell yet. only prototypes, i putted here pics of dcio and g1adv.
some details on the PSIO site, and for questions.
i discovered SPI i/f and got good results, after psio i plan continue about dcio. i have few ideas.
a) use low-cost fpga.
b) faster arm and low cost cpld (but it need time to research)

so maybe plan is simple device w/ sdcard and ide(hdd) support, +usb-device (not host, sourcing images from pc by usb).

That's beautiful! Hope he goes into production with those.

And, that's even MORE beautiful!!

I am so excited for CDI support on my USB-GDROM.

My dream is to finally complete a run of Half-Life on the DC with my keyboard and mouse...without wanting to throw the keyboard across the room after seeing the "loading" icon for the billionth time!

:)

I think you can buy the parts individually and solder them yourself.

10 Pcs FFC FPC Flat Plug 40 Pin 0.5mm Pitch Ribbon Connector
http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Pcs-FFC-...917?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1c382740f5

FFC/FPC 0.5MM/1.0MM spacing 40P Flat cable socket connector adapter plate PCB board 0.5 1.0 40pin DIP TFT LCD
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/FFC-...ector-adapter-plate-PCB-board/1859781360.html

5 pcs FFC FPC 40-pin 0.5mm Pitch Ribbon Flat Cable Wire 25cm Long Cheap
http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-pcs-FFC-F...674?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27ee8042da

But I would like to get one if it comes fully assembled.

But after looking at this approach, I was thinking could we have G1-ATA mod and GDEMU together?

Actually it creates more space I think.

I actually had something in the works some time ago but never got off the design floor (lost interest in it) and it fits perfectly over the test points so no wiring 40 wires all you do is add solder to the holes. It needs some rework with the traces and the shape is to fit nicely more or less with the larger onboard components of the DC mobo.
