I made a video, basically tell people the issues & benefits of it.
(note I'm not a reviewer & ramble on at times so don't judge me lol :-D & also I apologise for the carpet haha don't see the point in paying to replace it as it does its job)

also, MNEMO is adding new features, not sure what but he sent me an email saying he was adding features.

Nothing yet, but isn't there only one game that requires the second or third disc straight away? (D2) the rest use saves to continue.

Good to hear he's working on new features, I've still yet to have the same issues with mine and thats using the 3.0 USB HDD, I'm wondering if you are using too much power with the extra fan etc and its causing the device to sometimes not detect properly

Was doing it before I added the fan, it's no big issues. It just seems the devise doesn't enitilize the HDD correctly (it powers on) some times.

I was going to design it to work for both gdemu and USB gdrom. if people don't mind buying that SD card extender that is $5. I can make it more inclosed promising better airflow. Or I can design 2 versions

Would be amazingly cool if someone designed a 3d-printable shield for the gdemu, actually... I was going to hack up another DC's gdrom unit to make one, but a purpose designed one would be much better!

I don't have access to a 3d printer so vacuum forms are easier and cheaper for me to design. heck even if I had a 3d printer it would be a cheap one so would be better for making molds than actual product.

I am hoping to make it a single peace very simple design... airflow is key. Just sucks not owning either board so designing using my spare dc and images of the 2. Should be fun when I get my prototypes done ill post images...

Great video.. can I get a link to the VGA to HDMI you are using with your hanzo.

Thanks...

You also said in the video that the MNEMO board is region free? So all GDI's regardless of region boot without patch?

Here is the device I bought. (Same device different seller)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221462605982

& yes the device bypasses the region lock, so a NTSC GDI will work on a PAL console without patching or bios changes.

I noticed you don't have mini USB installed. Does that improve quality any?? was reading that was for power

I am currently contacting a Local guy that vacuum forms Armors, costumes, and star wars stuff. He has a nice set up so should be able to test out a few prototypes... Anyone think i should kickstart this ?? LMAO i could easly talk this guy into doing Custom stuff for people as Donation bonuses lol

The USB cable is only needed if the device doesn't supply 5v (pin9 on a VGA cable) the Hanzo supply's this so its a clean setup :) & make a small RCA to Audio jack so you don't have long wire hanging about.

If you prototype one or more & they benefit the DC, I will purchase one from you, since anything to make the DC last longer is a good thing.

im actually surprised there isn't a micro PSU we can use instead of the large PSU, the original Xbox could use micro PSU's. (With modding of course)

my goal in this is primarly Fixing the issue with Very little or no modding at all other than screwing it down... and make just enough $$ to buy a USB Gdrom controller... if someone donates one... id just sell for cost of material and shipping..

Curious about that (but can't test yet myself, alas).
Question : do you use VGA? Tried to VGA patch it? Tried it using non-VGA cable? Is your DC NTSC-J?
