As your parents have told you "don't put it in without making sure it is safe", reffering to your girlfriend usually

I m surprised to see yours in such good condition OE :) Did they send it via ANC and their paper/bubble-wrap packaging? or did you request a safer way? ;)

    Congratulations to Old Engineer

    I knew you couldn't resist ;-)

It's looking in pretty good condition. I'm sure you'll inform us of how you are getting on. Blimey, what a nice little PS2Tool community that's sprung up and grown. I joined this board back in 06 and I think I recall 2 or even 3 mentions of the unit, but nothing of significance. I guess we have the PS3 to thank for all this.

Welcome to the club, Old Engineer!

I've got to ask: were your box's USB sockets OK?

Indeed. I wouldn't have known where to start with the thing, if it wasn't for this board & I'd have had to wait somewhat longer to actually get my hands on one if I hadn't seen the posting here about the Bury ones.

I just got off the Phone with Bury Office Furniture's Danny, the eBay person.

Apparently it was ANC's fault that the packages have been damaged, and I did mention that "some other people i know had apparent damages on their units".

He is hoping to get a refund from ANC on my unit, and can't wait to change to ParcelForce at the end of the month.

    Friendly chap.

Yeah seems a decent bloke - he's sending me your blue stand as mine didn't come with one, which I thought was top service.

There's a hint on the previous page.
And maybe one on the next if needed.
