The games on the emu hdd all have the logo of the company displayed first.
DevL knows the answer so he shouldn't post it, not that there is anything to win beyond a bunch of leaked files...

What style of games is the company best renowned for? Sport, RPG etc.

Who did F-zero for SNES? Is it them? Or the people that did Starfox?

F-zero was done by nintendo, Starfox was done with Argonaut.

UJ is talking about famicom though, not S.Famicom

The Manc tool 10 story continues...

Well, a bubblewrap envelope was waiting for me this evening from the folks in Bury. It contained replacements for some of the cables & misc stuff that was missing from my order & what would appear to be a replacement USB board (see below).

A question for those folks who've already done battle with their TOOL innards - does this look like what was in your units? The USB socket postions are spot-on, but I didn't realise that the firewire socket wasn't on the same board?

I have still got to obtain my unit from the workshop this weekend, however I'll have a better look as this specific part I didn't take to bits, it's just a bit fiddly for having a look.

limey, without removing the usb part from my unit(to remove it you have to open the backpanel after having removed anything else inside the Tool except the ps2 motherboard, so I won't do it now), I'm pretty sure it's the correct part.
And yes, the firewire is not on the same board as the usb.

My tool antics are on hold due to

    1 Excess blood loss
2 Time need to give wounds to heal
3 House move in 2 weeks

Parris/UJ, thanks for your help! Yeah, having seen your earlier descriptions of how much fun you had getting into the insides of your boxes, I wanted to be a bit more certain that I had the right board, before attempting the same feat myself, only to find I didn't...

Gleavepaul, I hope that the 'blood loss' was merely the results of your dissassembly of "Dan" & not something more serious...

Aye it was all Dan's fault! Mostly because of sheared heads causing me to slip and find the most sharpest bit of metal. I have 3 scars on my right hand coz of him. Also the copper tape is quite nasty.....

Hey, have all the Manchester Tool ten fallen asleep? What have you guys been finding in your units? If you download the disassembly guide (see thread) and find any of these machines differ from what is listed in the guide. Please let me know. Thanks! ;-)
