The thread needed a bump, so here's a few of my latest. These pale in comparison to Don's insect pictures. Perhaps one day if I get a good macro lens...
good ones, nice artificial vignetting and color control BTW i've been back to mugello again, this time MOTORCYCLES pictures! Ducati all over! ASA i get enough time i'll post some samples
hehe.. my cat pics do not have any artificial vignetting... i had a polarizing filter on the lens wich added the vignetting
I can't wait to develop my roll of T64 (amazing 64-speed slide film) (going to cross-process with C41). I nabbed my father's old Canonet GIII. Has a 40mm 1.7 on it and my previous experience with it shows that it's very very sharp for something they tossed onto a fixed-lens rangefinder. For now... Can't remember the film, shot with an RB67 and an 85 3.5 if I remember correctly. My brother's cat. (probably should de-dust that one...) As for digi: my usual. Some of these are a bit old but rediscovery is always nice. My buddy Aaron's house before he moved ot New Jersey for graduate school. Moar cat. I couldn't take a straight picture if my life depended on it. Even when there's nice vertical lines to work with. I really have something against white balance. It feels wrong to me.
So, i was back to Mugello for my very first motorbikes photo session, during a ducati sponsored day Picturing bikes is so incredibly different from cars! didn't expect it and also all the "special" places i found along the track were useless too! This is one of my favorites: widescreen friendly One of my favorites! :3 Pit interaction As usual more Here. How do they look?
F great lense, and damn costy too! nice buy. But i have to admit i'm more than satisfied with my sigma 70-300 f4.5-5.6... almost all the pics i take on the racetrack are taken with it and it's reasonably priced and sharp can't wait to see the lenses in action, borman! BTW borman what x2 duplicator would you suggest? I was considering getting a cheap one someday...
Going to the zoo today! Wooo. And you mean to extend your reach? I was looking at the smaller (not 2x) Canon version, as it has gotten good reviews
No post processing, imported into aperture and thats it. Cant wait to look at these on a nice computer, this Mac can barely export them. Many more to come
the 2x extender from canon costs as much much as my whole gear  i have a 70-300 that multiplied would became a 600mm... on my aps sensor that's a 900mms @tatsujin nice fireworks! great shots mate! BTW i'll upload something great soon i managed to take some really good butterflyies yesterday
Theres a reason why its good When glass is involved, why bother going cheap and having to buy more crap later on A couple from today More here: http://www.aborman.com/Andrew_Borman_Photography/2010/Pages/Giants_Practice_-_August_2nd.html
I'll show you shots of my semi. ----- Anyways. Is it just me or are Japanese fireworks far superior to ours? And considering this country has a day dedicated to itself, which is celebrated with fireworks... Pathetic.
